Selection Criteria
Candidates seeking admission to MBA must satisfy the following conditions.
Non- Sponsored category
- Bachelors' Degree from recognized University with an aggregate of not less than 45% marks. A pass for SC and ST Candidates is sufficient.
- The candidates seeking admission must qualify in the entrance examination i.e., I-CET, examination conducted in the year of admission as per the norms prescribed by the University.
Sponsored Category (For Employees)
- Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University with an aggregate of not less than 45% marks. Candidates from SC & ST categories need a pass percentage at graduation level.
- The candidate seeking admission must have a minimum of three years of experience in Executive/Managerial/Administrative/Supervisory position in a Commercial/Industrial/Business/Government/ Commercial undertaking/any other organization, after obtaining the Bachelor's Degree.
- Candidates under sponsored category need not appear for entrance examination (I-CET). The selection of candidates under sponsored category is based on the number of marks earned by the candidate as per the criteria given below

Candidates seeking Admission to the courses offered by Department of Business Management can fill the application forms offline. To fill the application form, candidates can follow the following steps.
- Application forms and ICR sheets for full time and part time MBA courses along with the information brochures can be downloaded from OU website: www.osmania.ac.in/admissions.
- Candidates can submit the duly filled-in applications along with a demand draft towards registration fee (as mentioned in the application form) drawn in favor of “The Director, Directorate of Admissions, O.U., Hyderabad”, either in person or by post.

Candidates called for admission must present in person and submit all the ORIGINAL certificates listed below, along with two sets of photocopies.
- ICET Score card
- Degree certificate (or Provisional Certificate if Degree Certificate is not yet issued as per rules) of qualifying examination.
- Memoranda of Marks (Part-I and Part-II) of the qualifying degree examination.
- Proof of Local / Non-Local candidates, according to rules in force. Non-local candidates should submit

Osmania University Reservation Criteria
Local and Non-Local Candidates are eligible for admission to MBA program as offered by the Osmania University. The reservation criteria for admission is given below.
- Admission to 85% of the available seats in every course shall be reserved in favor of the local candidates in relation to the local area in respect of Osmania University subject to community and other reservations in force.
- The remaining 15% of the seats which are open to local and non-locals.
