- The course curriculum is really good, and the college exams are conducted on a yearly basis. The college is affiliated with Jiwaji University, which is situated in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.

- After studying this course, students usually go for a Masters degree instead of applying for other jobs, unless any unforeseen circumstances occur.
- Our Union party offers free books to very poor families who cannot afford to buy any. We, the Union students, provide this offer.
- You have to take a flat nearby or have to stay with friends in a nearby mess.

Course Curriculum Overview:
According to my opinion this course has become more difficult to study and study according to the rules. We get less time to complete the syllabus.Exams started before the completion of syllabus in college.

- The very friendly Behavior our teachers, They help us During our Exams by providing guidance and Support.
- The Open atmosphere around our college That includes The green nature, The wide campus and The classrooms are bright enough to study during the off periods
- Also Our campus is totally ragging free And If a student is getting bullied, we also have anti ragging department for their mental health

- Sometimes Attendance is an issue, If you have problem you better inform that To your Department HOD teacher and otherwise you'll have to answer a lot of interrogation
- The canteen should be a little more hygienic and They should think about the price of the food they're providing
- Very few of our teachers Often stay absent and don't inform in the college group for the students

I've always been loving The English language and literature, That's why I've taken this course for 3 years undergraduates.
Our department Head had always been Very generous and providing important meterials of the next examination.

- The campus is very beautiful and it has three seperate buildings for science, commerce and arts. With exception of English being taught in commerce building. The environment is great for studying. There is a library which is veryy helpful.
- The teachers are quite cooperative and nice behaviour. They teach veryy well and as tough as it was going from school to college standard of studies, it was made quite easy to understand everything because of them
- The courses are veryyy affordable. For the value they give it's quite a goood deal
Dislikes
- Classes are veryy inconsistent. Even though teachers are good at teaching. The teaching happens quite sparingly. Once a week, twice a week. As for the incomplete syllabus it can be assumed that it will be dumped on us before the exam
- This college provides no placement or internship. It might be a good stepping stone towards your masters from a college that does provide on campus placements.But if you want an internship or placement right after bachelors then you should avoid here
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course for political science is quite goood which attracted me at first to enroll in this college. It has quite a variety of chapters. Which are not the best at preparing me for real world applications but it's good for future competitive examinations like upsc,ssc,etc
The areas that need improving would be actually preparing us for jobs based on political science rather than just competitive exams. Various jobs like policy analyst and such is based on political science but the course doesn't help to understand that side at all

- I took admission at Vivekananda College in 2021 with B.A General. My subjects included English as main alongside Journalism and Human Rights. With an accredited 'A' by NAAC, Vivekananda College is one of the most significant colleges in Kolkata
- The faculties at the college are extremely kind, cooperative and considerate. Not only are they excellent educators, but at the same time they have successfully managed to maintain cordial relationship with us all throughout the semesters.
- Vivekananda College is rich on culture as it celebrates the festivals accordingly. There are multiple fests celebrated each year at the college premise. The College takes its proud stance as one of the best culture oriented colleges in Kolkata
Dislikes
- The college does not happen to have any hostel facilities as of yet which makes it difficult for a number of students to attend classes on a regular basis, furthermore, results in them missing the early classes.
- As of campusing and career development opportunities, there are several seminars arranged every few months, however the seminars are not very efficacious and the attandance is very low

Course Curriculum Overview:
Being an English course student, this course impacts my day-to-day lives as the language has extensive usage in terms of communication. The courses at Vivekananda College are taught with care and brilliance, making it easier for students to navigate their futures in the academic field.
The exams are done every 6 months from when a semester starts with internals being done 2 months prior in order to prepare us for the final exams. The papers are reasonable and can be answered gracefully if one attends the classes regularly.

My course i think one of the best course in bachelor in arts, it's was pretty interesting subject and informative for students faculties are so good and very kind nature. I was happy to taking journalism and mass communication as a my career

- I liked the location of the college as it is just on the main road of Thakurpukur
- I liked the environment of the college, the area is quite large
- There is a separate parking for bike & cycle which was really needed
Dislikes
- The behavior of the office staffs are quite rude
- I don't like the management of the college office as they are sometimes too casual
- Some of the students was too much harrassed because of the Irresponsiblity of the office staff
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is moderate. I opt for this course as I am preparing for competitive exams side by side. There is 1:30 or 40 ration between the faculty and students. Faculties are well qualified and also descent in behaviour vise. The term exams conducted by Calcutta University are on a timely basis.

- College organized games tournament and go as you like.
- College also have good canteen . Which so good for students.

- Admission process is too long. So sometimes its problematic
Placement Experience:
One of the best college in Kolkata for science department. Placement is very good. So many students from here jobs under ms, tata, Infosys, etc. They earn lpa of 5 lack to 10 lack. College also held seminars for placement

Remarks:
This college was under Calcutta University. It had good environment, good scope of faculty, facilities, proper manner of management,it has got the best college award by government, it has good department, helpful environment elsewhere

Good Faculties, short distance from my house, good reputed college in our area, no pressure from union, decent college campus and favorable classmates, well attended class rooms, cultural activity clean and fresh canteen food
