MERI College : Academics and Campus life experience

Likes

Firstly, the infrastructure of Janak puri campus is outstanding.
There are various clubs and events. My favourite one is Art club. I was also a part of it in my 1st Year.
The faculty was knowledgeable and some of them are very supportive.

Dislikes

The crowd and social environment of college could have been better.
No technical environment for tech students. Student have to do Coding and participation tech events by their own.

Placement Experience:

By the 7th semester the students will be elligible for the campus placement. And companies like Wipro, TCS, Hike, and ZopSmart etc visited and made almost 10-20% offer in total. Highest package for the last year was 14 lakh. Around 50% student got placed till now this year.

Likes

Friendly staff is available in the college which helps us teach very well and i love the way they show affection towards students.
Ambiance is just fine than most du colleges

Dislikes

Management in this college is very ineffective
Very regular activities are not taken care of in this college

They mostly offer sales profile for every course which is little unacceptable from my side thats why i am not thinking to take placements from my college as such but offer packages with good packages indeed.

strong alumni network and industry exposure
affordable education with comprehensive curriculum

Dislikes

outdated infrastructure and lab facilities
administrative delays leading to unnecessary stress
limited placement support for core roles

Placement Experience:

My college placements start from second last semester . companies like collegedunia and techolution ,nestrobird visit. highest package offered was 10lpa and average is 4 to 5lpa . around 60 to 70 % students get placed.

Every corner of MERI College

Likes

Faculties are cooperative in every way to help you to grow
Campus was clean and hygienic sanitized classrooms
Facilities available like instant medical facility Good and hygienic food available from canteen

Dislikes

There is no Parking available inside premises a major issue no authorised parking available 2 times my car towed from college due to outside parking
Security guard behavioural issue everytime their ego stands out.
They doesn't consider feedback from students they will take it just as formality.

Placement Experience:

From the 4th semester students are eligible for campus placements Companies like wipro, Fintech, pace Setters, Bajaj AIA, Sharekhan, HDFC Bank and many more visit for campus placements. Highest package will be 8LPA and average was 3LPA for the BBA Course and mostly company hire for sales department. 65% students are getting placed I pursue for business analyst job.

College faculty and teahers are good and nice
College infrastructure is good and nice building
College buses are good travel expenses is not that much

Dislikes

Nothing in particular but they have two places
We have to go 2 places for classes and but is okay
One is in janakpuri delhi and another haryana

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i chose which is btech cse curriculum prepares us for real world very nicely and the frequency and timing of exams are okay but they should give more time for exams. Exams are long but we doesn't have that much time.

HONEST REVIEW OF MERI COLLEGE

Likes

The first thing is that is really impressive about the college is the faculty.
The second thing which is unique about the college is allumni system.
The third thing about the college is the extra curricular activities.

Dislikes

The first thing that I disliked is the campus of the college.
The second thing is the course is not quite well updated and could be more logical towards the students.
The third thing is that the college needs to improve the security more.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are available but they are significantly needs to be improved. The maximum number of course have only sales department to be filled and after that they don't really care about the interest of the students. Because if which alot of students who admire to go into marketing, they tend to and to sales for the exposure basis.

College has no play area for students for the other categories

It's a shame to get admission in this college

Likes

while basic infrastructure is available, some facilities, such as sports complex.
the campus has basic facilities like labs, classroom, and playground.
the college does not enforce strict attendance policies and offer flexible in payment option.

Dislikes

the academic syllabus is not aligned with industry standards, and students feel it needs significant updates.
classrooms are well maintained but there're lots of insects around the class like cockroach and there are a lot of bee hives.
the canteen is so bad it has nothing and the hygiene is very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the college should revamp it's curriculum to include contemporary engineering topics and improve it's teaching methods to focus on real-world problem -solving.enhanced placement traning and internship opportunities would also make the program more comprehensive.

Meri College of engineering and technology reivew before taking admission.

Likes

the campus is well equipped such as libraries, workshop, the classrooms is clean but in the class they have so many insects.
Some teachers are approachable and experienced providing good mentorship
The placement cell is moderately effective with opportunites in technical roles

Dislikes

The boys to girls ratio is skewed with a significantly higher number of male students.
Although placement servies exist, hihgh paying adn core engineering roles are less frequent leading to concerns among students regarding career

The curriculum provides a solid foundation in enginerring but need mordernization to remain competitve in today's rapidly evolving tech landscape. A greater focus on emerging trends, industry partnership and dynamic teaching methods would significantly enhance its relevance and comprehensiveness.
