KIIT School of Electrical Engineering Bhubaneswar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for the placements. Many companies visited during our placement time. Some of them are Accenture, Cognizant, IBM, Wipro, Ericson, Bajaj Electrical etc. Out of 3000 students on the campus, they offered jobs to 1200 students. The highest package was around 300000 and the average package was 250000. Around 40 per cent of students got placed. I planned to get a decent job after the degree.

The placement option of KIIT is top notch and usually and average package of 8-9 LPA is there many companies like TATA,JSW,AMAZON, MICROSOFT AND LAMBORGHINI comes for hiring in KIIT Also after getting the degree KIIT sees that if the student is placed on not for 2 years My plans after getting the degree is to do MTech

1.AFTER 6TH SEMESTER PALCEMENTS STARTS . 2.IT COMPANIES LIKE TCS,WIPRO,INFOSYS,HCL,TECH MAHINDRA,CAPGEMINI,COGNIZENT,AND AMNY MORE IT COMPANIES COME FOR PALCEMENTS. 3. ALMOST 100 PERCENT OF STUDENTS GETS PLACED AT THE CAMPUS PLACEMENT

From the start of the 4th Semester, placement gets started. Companies like Cognizant, Wipro, Accenture, and Capgemini do bulk hiring from KIIT. Top MNCs like Microsoft, and Amazon also do hiring with a great placement offer. The average CTC provided is 6Lpa. The highest CTC provided by Amazon in 2022 which is 40Lpa.

There are many pros than cons, so if I'll have to point out to any cons of our college then it would be its location, it is situation at a place where it gets very hot, one more thing I would add is street food around our college is unhealthy.

College is good in terms of placement ,but majority of the companies were IT companies. Not much opportunities for core branch students to get a core company, where they can utilize their knowledge.
