About KSHEMA , a good college for MBBS

The first thing i liked is Academics which are best here . Teachers are themselves wanted to teach students .
The infrastructure of college,campus and hospital is best , new and more than enough for MBBS.
Social environment is also good where multiple sports , many times are competed with many collages and inter college .

Admission:

I was getting admission in KS Hegde Medical Academy Mangalore ( KSHEMA) , JNMC belagavi , JSS mysore and other low cut off colleges . I chose KSHEMA over other collages because of patient load in hospital, academics , quality of teacher and their will to teach , well renovated and new infrastructure, provding all equipment like robotics also in a medical college, location of college in good healthy surrounding environment and providing all accessible things which we need to become a good doctor. I got rejection from KMC , Mangalore because of 3 or 4 marks less required to get addmission there . But later on I found that KSHEMA provids more facilities including academics them KMC , Mangalore. KMC Mangalore do not have sufficient infrastructure and is distributed in parts in the Mangalore city. I found that JNMC belagavi patient load got decrease. I got this information from my cousin who is a intern MBBS in that college. Process of admission in KSHEMA is through NEET UG and NMC medical College counciling. In 2023 cutt off score was 404 and 2.5 lakh rank In 2024 cutt off was 1.5 lakh rank

The course is not affordable to all who are interested
No sufficient preparatory holidays before exams
Teachers at times are too quick and it's difficult to comprehend

Admission:

I chose this as the college is in my hometown, to stay closer to parents and cooked home meals and other colleges don't have the infrastructure that this college has and the inflow of the patients is very good which accelerates our learning and patient management

Likes

The environment is very student friendly and you can easily settle yourself over here in very few days without any problem
The social life over here is quite healthy. Senior junior interaction is also very nice and very helpful
The college has excellent infrastructure and amenities in terms of academic purposes as the labs are very much effective and in working condition

Dislikes

The mess food is not so good as it gets very monotonous with each passing day
The transportation facilities are quite expensive over here
The hostel to college distance is quite troublesome for few days where you are very busy

Admission:

I had applied for this college itself as one of the first few choices as I got know about this college from different sources. They all gave me a good review about this place. This college was my 4 choice while filling up the forms for admission. The cutoff for this college varies every year according to the results of NEET ug

Good facilities and infrastructure, great faculties, good for academics and if you want to focus only on studies .

Likes

Infrastructure and facilities are great , Ac lecture halls with ample seating arrangement, all departments have their own labs with sufficient instruments required for the educational purposes
Faculties are experienced and very knowledgeable, most of them teach really good but since it's a professional course we can't expect spoon feeding, we have to put in equal efforts
Strictly CBMe based curriculum is followed as per NMC's guidelines

Dislikes

Social life - the college does organise events but they are very limited in number, but if you want to focus on academics this place is best
Mess food - it's average like all other hostels , just barely edible for survival

Admission:

I chose this college because it had great facilities in a lesser fee structure as compared to the other medical institutes such as Dy patil or MGM. Admissions are online via mcc portal solely based on NEET UG scores and other eligibility criteria being 50 percent in each 10th and 12th boards .

The hospital is world-famous and the doctors are excellent staffs are friendly and cooperative
Our college has great safety protocols for the pandemic covid
Proper teaching facilities are there in our college

Dislikes

Poor administration and programs are quite few
Proper classrooms are less often in hospitals

Admission:

I havent applied to any other college.This college was suggested by one of my friend .Pass in 12th standard or equivalent examination with 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology with English as one of the languages of study.

Educational quality is excellent and admirable
Anti Ragging procedures are nice and effective

Dislikes

Lack of vacations and off days are very bad
5 and a half days of classes are very tiring especially when classes starts at 9 and ends at 4 30
Lack of celebrations are very boring, while rest of the world celebrates some thing we have to just sit tight

Admission:

To be eligible you have to be completed your 12 standard with atlest 75% mark for subjects - Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English each. I filed the application via a computer center ( internet cafe ) and I got a call from NITTE officials within 24 hrs. They explained to me about course fee and everything. I sent all the necessary certificates via post. I had to pay 50% fee after you sent the certificates. Then I went to take a look at college and once satisfied payed rest of the fee.

I really liked the college infrastructures and facilities provided
Faculties are well educated and experienced and friendly staffs
College campus is nearby to all the facilities available like gym, cricket ground, indoor stadium etc.

Dislikes

Overall course completion money is high nearly 5lakhs
Hostel food can be slightly better and hostel in timings can be extended for pg students

Eligibility for this course is graduation in same course (bsc) and i applied for this college through nitte official website. Application fee is 250 and online application dates will open from February month every year. There is no entrance exam eligibility is based on graduation marks or percentage. Exam pattern is semester exams every 6 months during the course and exams will be tough but manageable

College life is really amazing. With good nature bound area and good facilities
College libabry is open all time and has a lot of selection of books to go through.
