Actually I didn't go through the course curriculum properly and I might sound crazy saying this but the sem break and year break is a little too much for the fees we're paying and the course we've chosen. One month sounds okay but imagine getting two months for sem break?insane right? No one actually wants it. One month for year break and a few weeks for sem break sounds okay. And not giving vacation for festives and Christmas can't be justified with the unnecessary leaves. Exam schedule is very much likeable. The exams are not difficult, easy to average. But the marking is a little confusing.

Interior design offered quite a few academic aspects which can also be applied in other courses. The curriculum is quite tough as compared to other courses but it being so helps in the real world where the work we have to put in ks quite alot.

I choose this course as it is an upcoming career option. The faculty has experience in the professional field and have had several years if experience prior to joining. The faculty:student ratio is 1:10 and most of the studio classes consist of at least 4 faculty for a class of 40. The design exams at the end of the every even term were long and tiring whereas the sessionals were usually wrapped up within a week.

I choose this course because I was always keen on sketching. The faculty present at this college is the best in all of India. In India, this is the best private college to pursue architecture. The student-faculty ratio is approx 1:40. Most of the members of the faculty are from IIT and other top government colleges or from top-rated foreign universities. There are a total of 3 exams taken in a semester. The exams are really easy. If you study well you can easily score above 90 percent.
End terms exams can be difficult as minimal gaps are provided so it's advisable to have some preparation from before the exams too instead of preparing just during the gaps. The college tends to finish exams quickly so as to have more classes

The college is definitely expensive, in terms of fees and also Manipal as a place to stay (monthly expenditure if you are mot a hostelite). There is transparency in the break up. However, the fee has increased a lot over the years. It is much higher for NRIs. The fee at my time was around 2 lakhs per annum so around 10 lakhs for the entire course. It includes a laptop for each student. The fee is much higher now.
A fee is the main problem over here, it is highly expensive compared to the type of classroom and condition of furniture you get. a fee is 3.5 lakh per annum compared to that class is non A.C a furniture are almost worn out and need immediate repair.
3 lakhs for academics and 90 thousand for hostel.what we are paying for the academics is satisfactory and same in the hostel too.
