Life of Medico in Tvmc

Likes

It is one of the three medical college in tamilnadu with total strength of 250 students so it an old well known college
The patient flow in the hospital is high as people around Tirunelveli come here for checkup as it is an old known hospital
The faculties are all well knowledgable and their teaching is up to the standards

Dislikes

The seating and facilities are not up to the standard of 250 capacity
The cultural program held only once after joining college and permission for cultural is hard there is no opportunity for exposure
Sports is present but it is not well established permission for sports activity is hard to get

This is an old and well renowned college in tamilnadu It is more than 65 years old and one the few college with 250 capacity so it is well established I also applied for Madurai and Coimbatore but didn't get in due to lack of marks

Likes

Classroom, Examination hall , Airconditioned lecture theatre, experienced Doctors as faculties and lecturers,
Modern laboratories, Experienced non teaching laboratory staffs
Clean drinking water supply with clean and hygiene bathroom facilities

Dislikes

Climate conditions mostly it is sunny every time
College and hospital are closely located but you need vehicle to attend the classes that to taught on hospital lecture class room on time
Sometimes class room is to be too crowdy because of 250 batch

Admission:

* Actually,when compared to other government medical Colleges in Tamilnadu except colleges in Chennai and 11 new medical Colleges Have poor or old type infrastructure so when compared to others ,it is best at experience,NRFI ranking and infrastructure * on first round of medical counseling,I got seat in this college,then I didn't opted for any other colleges * Eligibility exam - NEET ,ranks varies on year to year depends upon academic competition

Likes

All the lecture halls are air conditioned
Professors teach every concept very well
All the laboratories are equipped with required equipments

Dislikes

The number of culturals conducted are quite less

I applied to almost all the colleges in India suring the counselling But within the choices i had for my marks i chose tvmc because it has a high patient load which is really important factor For admission one needs to clear NEET and get eniugh marks to get into this college

Ragging is quite common over here, but is manageable

I joined this college via writing the entrance exam that we know as National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam (NEET). The admission process is simple and easy and straightforward in the site which can be done by anyone.

Academic is very good here..teachers and all are very strict
Teachers are very supportive here.

Dislikes

Even though patient flow is high....we can't take much opportunity of it due to language barrier
Campus Life is not so good here...there is no gym, swimming pool,not good cantene

All India Entrance Examination Quota. In all states, government medical colleges account for 15% of all Indian seats. It has been converted into NEET tests and rank based assignments. When you got a selection, you just have to visit the college for filling up the form, and some submit some documents.
