Very good appreciable teaching by understanding students
A positive atmosphere with lot of green trees.
Good library for peaceful reading and knowledge

This was the best college for learning engineering because of the experienced professional teaching staffs. I didn't tried other collages because i liked this college. We need to present our mark sheets and school details.

Likes

College ambience is nice and enjoyable with greenery
Faculties are more friendly and have attachments with students
Placement opportunities are provided with several companies.

Dislikes

Focuses only on studying not on any other programs
Doesn't give enough promotion for sports.
Even after attending the class they may not provide attendance

Admission:

This college is very near to my house so it can be easily reached . This college always maintaince a standard as compared to other colleges near by and since its near hostel fees can be avoided .

Although college is not as big as other colleges it has covered almost every aspect of other collegs be it in terms of labs other other sports areas.Also the college has got elevators for teachers and differently abled students.

Admission:

I had got lower percentage in my 12th exam and was forced to join the college. I wanted to repeat and get good marks in the following entrance exam but they forced me to get to the college. I wanted computer science but i got electrical because the slot was already filled

THE TEACHERS AND STAFF ARE REALLY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL
THE COLLEGE BUS SERVICE IS GREAT AND RELIABLE
THE CANTEEN IS NICE, WITH GOOD FOOD AND GOOD ATMOSPHERE

Dislikes

THE LIBRARY IS JUST OKAY. IT WORKS , BUT IT COULD DEFINITELY BETTER
SPORTS FACILITIES ARE NOT GREAT, AND THERE IS NOT MUCH ENCOURAGEMENT FOR STUDENTS INTERESTED IN SPORTS
THE CANTEEN FOOD WAS LITTLE BIT EXPENSIVE

I CHOOSE THIS COLLEGE BECAUSE I,VE ALWAYS BEEN INTERESTED IN EEE, AND I WANTED TO BECAME AN ENGINEER. I ALSO APPLIED TO S.D. COLLEGE ALAPPUZHA FOR A B.Sc. IN PHYSICS, BUT IN THE END, I FELT THAT ENGINEERING WAS A BETTER CHOICE FOR MY FUTURE.

The overall atmosphere was clean, the staffs were friendly.
The teachers were good at supporting us and with our studies.
Canteen was good, clean, good food. Nice atmosphere.

Dislikes

The Management sooo bad, it was yuckkkkk
The management restricted from activities such as sports and etc..
Management was bad, didnt focus on development until NBA people came..:(

Admission:

The main reason i chose this college was because of my parents. They were brain washed by the useless relatives and joined this college. But at the end of the day everything is for good, and i have a positive mind.

All the teachers are very helpful and qualified
Iam satisfied with the facilities provided at the college
The college has really good infrastructure

Percentage of placement is low when compare to other college
There is no parkingg space for studentss

Iam not sure about the rank i got in KEAM exam firstly i got a merit seat in a college in kollam but i didnt get the course which i like . So i changed the of college .. In 2nd allotment i got this college and i got the course which i like ..Admission process is pretty normal. Bring all documents and all funds like PTA , bus fund etc....

The department teachers were really friendly and helps you however they can
The classrooms were really nicely ventilated
The washrooms were moderately well maintained

Dislikes

The principal was not a good person and almost everyone in the college including the teachers disliked him

Admission:

I got the admission for the college because i cleared the KEAM exam. It is fairly simple to pass the exam and you can apply for admission to ccet if you passed keam. You apply for the vollege either by going to the college or online. According to your keam marks you can enter either on mangement quota or merit quota. The admission process is managed by the faculty and it is done fairly easily and in a simple way.

Likes

Good teaching strategies by the faculties. Covering portions on time.
Great infrastructure. Good atmosphere. Eco-friendly atmosphere.
Facilities are good and latest technologies are available.

Dislikes

Sometimes overload works are given without even considering students mental health.

Admission:

During admission they told college bus fare is not connected to semester. But now they are telling bus fees should be remitted with semester fee. That's not a good doing. Bus facilities need to be improved and maintenance have to be done. During rain water is coming from the AC vents and window lamination.

Carmel College of Engineering, the truth.

Likes

College have a cricket team which competes in University games.
Have a good collection of books in library compared to other self financing colleges.

Dislikes

Doesn't have enough support for extracurricular activities.
Most students who joins here doesn't have an idea about engineering and most of them lacks passion.
Teaching is like spoon feeding rather than making students understanding what they are studying.

Admission:

I joined via Lateral Entry after completing Diploma. The minimum rank to join this college can be found as low as 250+. I had an All Kerala Rank of 66 so I had no issues in joining. The joining should be done only via government allotments. There is management seats available but for reducing the risk register at the government portal.

Likes

I like mainly our department the facilities are very supportive.
Mechanical departments have special clubs and activities to develop our knowledge and skills.
The college is very environmental friendly.

Dislikes

Placement cell should be improved much more.
I felt the college structure like a hospital.
The management of the college is very strict.

Admission:

Application process are mainly in 3 type. We can get government seat by taking keem entrance exam. Other two modes are management seat and NRI seat. The students taking government seat getting scholarship from the university by considering their income. Others get scholarship under their marks. Both cgpa and sgpa should greater than 8. The application form and admission procedure can read through college website or website can contact the college directly. The exams conduct ontime. The procedures of admission process are very clear and good.
