Janiye hamare college ke baare me

Likes

Some of the senior professors are very experienced and best with their teaching skills.
Teacher's involvement in both extracurricular and curricular activities

Dislikes

Infrastructure, no ramps for PWD, or lifts for senior teachers
No different learning facilities, studios are huge but boring
Some studios are not well ventilated, the cleaning staff is rude.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is conducted, with the packages from 5-6 laks per annum. Renowned companies like godrej and boyce, Teri, Sanjay puri and architects and many more. What I feel is the package is less and students will prefer looking for higher packages except from campus placement.

Likes

The faculty and mentorship quality is quite good
Development of creative and intellectual is satisfactory
the facilty encourages competition participation, helping students develop teamwork, leadership and confidence. the extensive library offer diverse resources.

Dislikes

The infrastructure of the college needs improvement
Hands-on experience in required through workshops
extracurricular activities are insufficient

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from 10th smester. companies like Godrej, L&T construction have visited offering pacakages from maximum 5.5-6 lakhs. I plan to join interior design company after graduation

Remarks:

The factors which drove me to take admission in this college because this is the only college which is located in the centre of city and the teaching staff and seniors are very helpful. And also the placement is quite good.

Parents didn't wanted to send me out of nagpur and even applied for different colleges since Smmca was the best in private college, sir even prefered that so therefore went there. Even the jee score wasn't so good therefore didn't applied for vnit

The atmosphere in the College helps us to build a collaborative learning

Placement Experience:

There is no as such placements in architecture. We have to send our portfolios to our choice of architects there is 100% placements since it is outside campus and on our own, the placements are a compulsory part of an architecture
