Course Curriculum Overview

It is good mostly focus is on the practical approach since it's a field job research we have as an elective subject which gives time to do research study books and research papers electives are software classes urban planning valuation.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, college did provide internship of eight months. it was awesome 3000/-

Placement Experience

There is no as such placements in architecture. We have to send our portfolios to our choice of architects there is 100% placements since it is outside campus and on our own, the placements are a compulsory part of an architecture

College Events

There are various workshops that are held in college from time to time main events are teacher’s day and Archiventure.. college authorities did contribute management is done by the student council

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is affordable otherwise various scholarship programs are present in college 75000/- per year

The hostel rooms are twin or triple sharing they do not have PG 60000/- for hostel per year.

We have well experienced teachers and staff they are communicative and interactive they help us throughout the semesters the standard of teaching is very nice design problems are challenging but we get through it with the help of teachers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason i choose architecture because it fascinates me how a place can be developed into holistic place interests me . The curriculum has some good inputs but it doesn't make you industry ready extra efforts should be taken to learn advance softwares extra classes newer research etc discussion on advance technology becomes important in modern age how architecture is changing is not discussed

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation.There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

Placement Experience:

For architecure departments, usually there are no placements, but since this Institute is autonomous, they have startes conducting placements drive. Last year 10/12 students were placed in good firms all over banglore, pune, kolhapur. I plan on applying to different firms all over Maharashtra and would also hope to get placement via college since the packages that are offered are good. Placement percentage is anywhere between 12-15%. The highest package offered was around 5,40,000, average package for a architecture student would be-around 3lakhs.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.
