The experienced staff, the management and ofcourse name of the college is also known due to which I added the college in my preference list. They prepare us for all our juries and exams well by continuous reviews and internal juries and preparing us for the Final external jury. At every stage the work is guided and inputs are given to improve.

Campus placement is conducted, with the packages from 5-6 laks per annum. Renowned companies like godrej and boyce, Teri, Sanjay puri and architects and many more. What I feel is the package is less and students will prefer looking for higher packages except from campus placement.

The fees for 1st year starts from 1,50,000/- and as the year increases the fees decrease slightly but is never less than 1,00,000/- . The fees should be paid in the beginning of semester and full fees is expected to be paid at once. For ST/SC there are scholarships available and they get almost 90% of there fees back. Ews scholarship is also provided.

There are only 2 events conducted in college : ArchiVenture and teacher's day. In ArchiVenture the students and teachers of the whole college are divided into 4 groups according to the theme, the teams are divided vertically such that each groups consider of students from each year. This helps in knowing juniors and seniors. And in teachers day the teaching staff is invited for a cultural event full of dance, music and entertainment.

I applied through CAP rounds in which I added the colleges as per my preference, SMMCA, Pridarshini college of architecture, VNIT in which SMMCA was my first preference due to it's accessibility for me during COVID and I got selected in my first CAP rounds and got into SMMCA. Eligibility: for applying here a student needs to pass 10+2 with percentage aggregate of about above 65% and also the student should have appeared for both NATA and JEE MAINS PAPER2 . Out of these both scores of the best will be considered for admission.

The faculty students ratio is good, For design the the students of each class are divided into groups of 10, say is a section has 30 student, three mentors are appointed for that class with each of them mentoring 10 students. Which helps in better interaction and discussion of mentors and students. There are sessionals conducted after completion of maximum course for the semester, helping students to prepare half of the syllabus before university exams. But these semesters are conducted in between such a busy schedule like in between submissions and deadlines that cause many students to fail, the students don't get time to study and they give exams in the basis of the classes they attended.

The library is well maintained with all the study books required and also has newsletters, previous year thesis, and university question papers. The college has foyer which is the main gathering area for students. The campus lacks gathering spaces for students and even for teachers to hangout in free time.
