Likes

Faculties are very good and experienced.
The course provide practical skills and knowledge to students
The college motivates extra curricular activities in students

Dislikes

There was no placement for our course field

Course Curriculum Overview:

The programme provide theoretical and practical knowledge in psychology. Devar also practicals course in programme. This create more awareness and experience towards the career. The different college and department create more communication and skill development.

Likes

Before joining the collage, i was very silent person, but after that i changed a lot
The social activities, the collage routines changes me a lot
I m so superproud that i was studied at union christian college that 100 + years old

Dislikes

Parking is not good

Placement Experience:

We have 2 semester exam per year. We the bsc botany students have field visit at ooty, Karnataka coorg etc. We have find lot of varieties of plants and all. Higher the percentage and placement will be more. I got an job at private company

The very first thing I like about my college is its campus. Our campus very eco friendly and the good politics which could'nt find in any other colleges.
The faculty's in my college is very good and teachers often didn't spoon feed which is a good thing they encourage us students to make use of the libraby more efficienly.
I think unlike other colleges our college conduct many programmes and teachers are always very supportive of it.

Dislikes

I think in some departments we don't have enough class rooms

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I wanted to do something useful to people who suffer mentally and I chose this course in our college because many people who did UG and PG from there tolde UCC is the best college which has the best psychology department. The curriculum prepares us for real world applications very practically. I think there nothing to improve in course curriculum and teaching method as it is good now. Exams are not that difficult easy if we study in day to day basis. But exams are very late and they often change the dates of exams.

Environment friendly beautiful campus,good infrastructure.
Qualified faculties and laboratories and research centres are well equipped.
The most important is there is a placement cell that provide placements to top companies

Dislikes

Class rooms are not that well facilitated
Eventhough it's a green campus but it's not neat that much
Washroom rooms facilities are poor and neat

There is a problem regarding the exam ,as Union Christian College is an aided college affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University,Kottayam the exams are conducted as per university guidelines .Most of the time exams are rescheduled.

Likes

UC college protects its aesthetic vibe and beauty.
UCC is eco friendly with more than 400 species of plants.
Efficient teachers of UCC helps the students to built their career.

Dislikes

They can add more books in the library, mainly story books
They can provide more e-learning classes
Lab technicians should be experienced ones

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course gives us many internship experiences and lab trainings. After UG we can move to any science field for PG according to our wish. The exams are not much difficult if we understand the main root. This curriculum prepares you for many research.

Likes

The college is very beautiful. There are many trees and old buildings which gives the college a beautiful atmosphere
The teachers and staffs are very friendly.
The quality of teaching and the lab faculties are good.

Dislikes

The parking of students is very far from the classes which is very difficult for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The ciriculum is well defined. It contains programming languages which is widely used in the real world. And also it contains electeonics, digital electronics, mathematics etc. So it very balanced. The only negative I've about the ciriculum is it doesn't contain flutter, which is widely used now.

The campus is totally environment friendly. With lots of culturals and sport opportunity. Wide campus with greenary.
The infrastructure are good. We have library, conference room , canteen , auditorium, sports court..
The faculty in the college are good. They help us to score good marks . We have NSS , NCC, and so many other clubs for children to enjoy

Dislikes

Placement Experience:

The campus placement procedure takes place in the middle of the fourth semester . Majority of the companies require minimum 60 per cent aggregate, a few companies accept 50 per cent aggregate . Write mock test , solve aptitude test for the preparation for placement.

College is full of trees and plants it gives us more connection with nature
Lab facility of our college is good and very helpful
Our college gives equal importance for studies and other cultural and sports programs

Dislikes

In some departments teacher students communication are very less and will affect their studies also
Modern methods of teaching are not used commonly in taking classes
Teachers need to support students for other cultural events

Placement Experience:

My campus includes placement which is very useful and effective so I could attend many well known company interviews. percentage of students getting placement was 65% and it will vary according to the companies.

There are more students are placed in our college through placements. For freshers and pg students in any course our college provide placements. The placement office and officer are so friendly. So, we can ask any doubt to the ma'am. And also provide placement classes for students to known about job opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took biology because I love it and it's interesting. We have lab daily and it makes the course more interesting. We can study many basic and scientific things from it and also after studying this we can take masters in it. After masters we can either go to teaching or to scientific research fields.
