Likes

The faculty member are great, they help the students in solving their doubts, they have immense knowledge in fhe subjects, they provide us notes and handouts for better understanding of the subjects, they are really friendly and guide us
One more thing which i liked is our library which is the most beautiful and peaceful place to study in a studious environment.
They also help us to fill several other scholarships from the government like swami vivekananda scholarships etc.

Dislikes

Some of the boring lectures make it difficult to understand the subjects
The most stupid thing is we can go to sports arena only when our morning section timings are that is 6:15 to 10:15 AM , after that we cannot go to Sports arena
Some things are not good like the environment and all

Likes

The teachers we’re experienced and very knowledgeable
The student campus was filled with basic amenities and technologies like the smart class,labs,etc
The sports sections had many sports and co-curricular activities were great

Dislikes

Basic group disparities of more cultural events took place and students participated it would have been great
The time table of the classes are too messy like one during the day then afternoon if the college could put up classes for a period of the day continuously then it would have been great so that we didn’t have to return and come college again and agai
The classes are empty but when they all attend the classes are packed and not space to even sit if they could evenly distribute us into units that would be great

I always intrigued with how the constitution works and how we as people are the ones that make it so before I stepped into college I already knew I was gonna do this because that it was I liked and was untested in, so when I was coming to college I was already comfortable and having great professors made it even easier for me to do well and understand better .

A Deep Dive into Campus

Likes

The strong academic performance in the fields of Arts , science, Commerce.
Very popularly know for its extracurricular activities.
The college has well infrastructure with modern class rooms, equipped library, computer halls and seminar halls.

Dislikes

The college doesn’t provide any type of on-campus hostels making it difficult from the students from other states to stay.
The campus can feel very much crowded due to the huge number of students.
As the college is academically rigorous, students may feel academical pressures, especially during exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen my specific course (Bcom) because it is more of a comfortable course for me and it's easy for me to understand the course more easily and effectively. Although the curriculum is strong in commerce subject AI, Data analysis, Fintech. These types of emerging technology could also be enhanced. The frequency and timing of the exams are very friendly to students because they get a longer period of time to complete their syllabus and the difficulty level is pretty good as it comes under Calcutta University.

Know all about bhawanipur education society college

Likes

Campus and library are the best and faculties are also good
There is no compulsory 75% attendance as compare to other colleges in CU
Professor are friendly in nature and regular events are conducted in college campus

Dislikes

Evening session students and the aura in canteen
There is no dress code for both boys and girls
A little bit at higher price as compare to other colleges in CU

•As I'm a CA aspirant I'm focused towards my CA exam and bcom is my secondary choice. In this college there is no pressure for attendance which influenced me to take admission in this college •Practical exposures and internship are provided for the college. Which provides practical knowledge of industry and sector which help in the real world •exams and test are conducted between gap of 2-3 months. And internal exams are difficult to Crack

Likes

The infrastructure is good and the area in which the college is located its nice
The faculty is very supportive all the profesors are highly qualified
It's very hygienic in all means and the events are a major reason to join

Dislikes

There's way tooo rush in the college it's heavily crowded
If ur opting for bcom it's waste like attendance ain't compulsory

Placement Experience:

They can get college placement is 6th semester (3rd year) Vodafone and various local companies do come here for campus hiring in BBA it's mostly done in finance the highest package was 11lpa the name isn't disclosed and roughly 50 gets the placement and I plan on doing MBA after this

Likes

The faculty of the college is best if you really wanna study.
The infrastructure is vey nice like the classes are so good.
The canteen and other facilities like library and sports section is good

Dislikes

The college campus is very small because it is in the middle of the city.
The students are a bit arrogant and into showing off a lot.
The worst about the college is that there are a lot of students and they have very less classes

The curriculum is very good and you can have the knowledge you want from the teachers and the best thing is that every teacher has some experience who are teaching their specialised subjects and they are very good at it.

I liked the faculty members. They provide constant guidance. They act as mentors and support your goals and help you achieve your dreams.
I liked the spacious canteen and also the vast collection of books in the library.
The ratio of boys to girls is 50/50. The college has a lot of fests and events. Students can engage in various activities and build their skills.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year and 5th semester the students can go for internships outside. They may or may not get paid depending on their merit and the company they choose. Infosys, Myntra, Bazaar kolkata, Reliance and many more companies come for freshers in campus recruitment. The college has an exit option after 3years but I want to get the specialization and research degree . Students must score good marks to get jobs. College provides good placement. And students can also apply for jobs on their own.

Sports facilities. sports teams availablity of proper equipments
Canteen food it's very hygienic but over priced
The campus the library the programme held by the college

Basketball court is not ready to play its almost covered
The area of the campus is too small to roam
Sports arena is not open maximum times a day

College provides us with Manu of the internship through our email but the students are not interested in them because there are mostly non payable internship based on only experience but today's generation students need money too

Likes

Infrastructure is one of the best in whole kolkata colleges.
College life is one of the best in whole kolkata
College library is one of the best and have all related books

Dislikes

Placement is not good as compared to other colleges
Attendance is not compulsory in this college which is bad.
Domination in co circular activities, as the college participate and organize co-circular and sports activity but they have domination of few

Placement Experience:

Placement of our college is average it range from 2 lakhs to 7 lakhs per annum from 5th semester only we can sit for interview many companies like wipro, TCS, Infosys , etc. Comes to hire in our college and many new firms and startups also come in our college the companies take students on there merits and speaking skills.

Is bhawanipur college good?

Likes

The college infrastructure is really commendable it's 5 on 5
The classrooms,library, auditoriums are really big and with many facilities
The crowd of this college is really social towards each other the students are very welcoming

Dislikes

The classrooms are decent i think it can be improved
The benches for students are really uncomfortable can't sit more than a hour
The lifts can be increased as many students uses it and it's very difficult to use stairs when you are getting late for your lecture

Afyer semester 6 the students are eligible to be placed. There areany companies who comes for selection like delloite,jio,tata,amazon and etc. The highest package this course provides in this college is 7 lpa and lowest is 3 lpa. Last year approx 55% of students got placed To start a startup

Likes

I liked the infrastructure of the college very much.
The teaching method is very good and it's done digitally via projector
There are many fest, competition , etc is the college

Dislikes

The time of the college which is for co- ed is morning from 6am
The behaviour of the staffs and some teachers
The campus is comparatively small the many other colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed B.com (hons) and i am doing CA parallely with it, b.com consits some parts of CA and i find it quiet helpful. Something i want to change in the course is that it's compulsory subjects like English and all like it's totally waste of time and resources. The exams are held in a gap period of around 6 months
