BESC UG Admission
BESC allows candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent to apply for admission. English at the +2 level is compulsory for all UG programs.
Important UG Admission Rules:
- Candidates with a 3-year gap after Class XII are not allowed for admission.
- Aggregate percentage for merit is calculated on the best four subjects.
- Environmental Education is not included in the aggregate calculation.
- If Environmental Science (100 marks) is taken as an elective subject in the +2 level, it may be included.
B.Com. Admission
BESC Kolkata has two pathways to eligibility for the B.Com. program.
First, a Candidate must have scored a minimum of 55% in any B.Com-related subjects at the +2 level. Second, a minimum of 50% aggregate in the best four subjects combined with 45% in any B.Com-related subjects at the +2 level.

BBA Admission
BESC Kolkata prepares the BBA merit list for admission strictly on Class 12 scores.
There are two categories of eligibility:
- Minimum 50% aggregate in the best of four subjects combined with 45% marks in BBA-related subjects.
- Minimum 55% in any BBA-related subject mentioned below.

Note: If a candidate has not studied any related subject, then a minimum 50% aggregate in 10+2 is mandatory.
B.Sc. Admission
BESC Kolkata mandates a minimum of 55% marks in the Honours subject in Class 12 for its B.Sc. programs.
However, those who have scored at least 45% marks in the Honours paper are also eligible, given they have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate in the best four subjects.

Important Note:
Business Mathematics & Applied Mathematics is not considered as a substitute for Mathematics and hence will not be eligible for B.Sc. courses except B.Sc. Economics (H).
B.A. Admission
BESC Kolkata requires B.A. candidates to have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate in +2, along with 45% in the corresponding Honours subject.
Those who have scored above 55% in the chosen Honours subject at +2 level are also eligible.

- After completion, candidates must wait for the merit list to be released.
- Any addition to the course/sessions can be done using the same login credentials.
