I like the college atmosphere. The infrastructure will be very good . The campus would be full of trees and it will give the lively atmosphere.
I like the Faculty of my department. Some are strict but most of the staffs are very friendly

I don't like my course which I opted. It was full of basic it is only a foundation course for the higer studies
They can provide with any special course for the students who seeks for any job immediately after they finish the graduation

Actually the curriculum in that course was very basic.. and if i study pg only I can go for any job or any research. In the practical session we had dissection of frog, cockroach and all.They would have avoided that

All about Stella Maris

The college gives nice exposure for students to find and improve their skills
The infrastructure is nice and we have benches near garden area to study

The areas for parking are limited which makes it difficult for the students
The college overall is strict in discipline as it belongs to a convent

I chose psychology as my personal interest. The faculties of my department are so cool and quite approachable. As they're psychologists, they handle everyone uniquely. Most faculty members are Ph.D. holders in the department. There are 10 faculties for 200 students in our department. Our semesters are conducted in the November and April months and they're all set in such a way that it gives scope for difficult students to pass, and also keeps check against easy students from getting centum.

I love mathematics. That's why I chose this program. Faculty members are very helpful and friendly. They will help you to go with the course if you have any issues with the subject. the class strength is Above 60 and there will be 2-course teachers for a subject. We have two semesters per year. So there will be an exam at the end of the semester.

I joined Stella Maris College to pursue my bachelor's in Physics in 2015. The course spans over 3 years (6 semesters). The first two years will consist of core papers (Physics) along with elective papers from other Science departments such as Mathematics and Chemistry, while the final year focuses on only Core papers. Hands-on practical sessions will be conducted in the first two years in Physics (core) and Chemistry (Allied). Each of our Faculty members are either CSIR-NET qualified or holds a Ph.D. degree or both. They are well-qualified and very approachable. Our batch (2015-2018) had 55 students. The grades were calculated based on both internals (50%) and semester exams (50%). With regard to the internals, usually, two internal tests will be conducted for each paper to calculate the overall internal grades. In addition to that, a third internal test will be held to help students boost their grades.

The mathematics degree program was quite complicated. But it's easy to cope up.I love mathematics. That's why I chose Stella Maris College. The faculty in my college are friendly and easy to mingle with. They are very focused and their teaching methods make us understand easily. The faculties put more effort into presenting videos based on the concepts during online classes. They also focus on each student and clear everyone's doubts accordingly. My fellow batchmates are friendly and supportive too. They are helpful in studies.

Except for the Self Financing courses the other course fees are pretty nominal and affordable. And the expense with regard to study materials is also less as the library is well equipped with course books. If the students has a good aggregate, many scholarships are also available.
