My college experience

Likes

The college is a girls college which i personally liked. The college engages in a lot of extra curricular activities.
The teachers are friendly and supportive. The teaching methods are good and the knowledge level of the teachers are mind-blowing.
The classes are neat and the toilets are well kept. The curriculum includes a lot of activities to improve self confidence and smartness.

Dislikes

The teachers can be a bit strict and overbearing.
The exams could be more flexible and less stressful.
The curriculum is completed in a fast pace to conduct the exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course to learn more about business and investments. The curriculum involves a wide variety of courses related to these topics. It gives a good idea about what happens in the business world, the securities market, what and all should be done to start a business and how to successful in them. Various workshops, seminars, etc, are conducted for this purpose. The exams should be slowed down, and the students should be given more time to prepare.

Teachers are not supportive.Mainly commerce and science departments

Placement Experience:

Students who have no back papers are eligible for their campus placement . They don't have wide variety of companies but some are good to an extent. Some of the students got placed in good companies and some got rejected

The every each programme gives our a core memory there.thats an absolute thing.
The overall vib from the departments and all.also the buildings is so clean
The teachers was so excellent and professional in teaching.

Dislikes

There is no mirror in our department is the saddest thing.
Ofcourse mainly the walk thing because am studying the 4year ug programme so i have to walk far for the respective classes.
Need to improve the skill course as well.it would be good

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good.the placements are starts from the 4th sem onwards .abiut the placement of college is they would provide some more firms and we can choose the suitable firm and we can do the job there. Percentage of students to get placements is 90%.i have to pg here only.

St teresas college Ernakulam, a good atmosphere and a good social environment

Likes

Faculty at the college is really good, they very understanding
The programmes at the college is fabulous, each week we do have programmes
The quality of social interaction is way too good, the atmosphere there is amazing

Dislikes

Hostel, the hostel at the college is very worse.

My course bcom and its curriculum is well designed . It deals with management and accounting aspects. As we know in the modern world accounting, tax, management, business techniques etc are very important to start a company. With this course and its curriculum im able to know these elements to start up a business

The people here are really supportive and inclusive unlike the stereotype of girls clg.
Its a girls clg so many of our girls will be comfortable

Dislikes

There are too many unnecessary assignments like just copying from the tb so there is no personality development

Placement Experience:

I have not completed the course but what I hear from seniors is it is best to work for a year or two before u go for MBA or higher studies if u still wish to support your family early there r on-campus placements too in the 3rd year.

college offers a lot of opportunities but one has to keep an eye out for them

Placement Experience:

The college is famous for its high placement offers and only third-year students are eligible for placement. Top companies like KPMG, Infosys, Wipro, and Tata are a few among the companies visited. St Teresa's has a higher percentage of placement of students compared with neighboring colleges and students are offered high pay. I wish to specialize in the finance field and hence want to work as a financial analyst for a year or two and then go for an MBA.

My college is the oldest and most renowned college in kolkata. It provides the best facilities in academics for courses in commerce. I heard a lot about the college from my seniors and moreover I liked the infrastructure of the campus.
