The college faculty both teaching and visiting faculty are very high professionals who have very good knowledge in their subject. There exams structure is they the exams are conducted as per sem 1 and sem 2 university exams also the college conducts internals and presentation skits and various other engaging activities

A nice decent college in mumbai for commerce

The teaching was good i liked it . The faculties are helpful they will help you understand the concepts

The faculty to student ratio is quite good i would say, some of the faculties are good , and some dont bother to answer your question ,they will tell you that you are dumb you dont know that and this .i liked the audit faculty in sem 1 , he was good in teachings and humble with his students and was always there to clear the doubts. There is 1 exam on end of every semester, and internals are conducted within the semesters , there are total 6 semesters. Mostly all the students get passed, only few get a kt. They are no5 that difficult if you study throughout the semester regularly.

St. Andrews College- The Pinnacle of Bandra College.

I also like the teachers, particularly History teacher, who has a wonderful way to teach.

the college is well equipped with adequate staff, be it peons, teachers or other supporting staff. The course is followed as per the university pattern. Examination are conducted by the university. Grading is done as per universities circular. Spacious rooms for examination. Strict environment with minimum to no chances of copying. I like the faculty of arts as well as the faculty of IT. The reason to like is a) I am an arts, student, and b) I like the vice principal of self finance course. There are two examinations in the degree College, which are the summer and winter examinations. Significant number of students manage to pass the exam. Although there are visible numbers of student, failing exam. examinations are as per the difficulty set by university. The curriculum shaped by the university of Mumbai truly lacks a bit of relevance. Although teachers manage to cover up the lacking while explanation.

Andrew's a place of study and fun

Dislikes

The teachers are rude and don't care for childrens opinion at times

The faculty is a mix of good and bad people some teachers understand and teach the children according to their pace and some teachers don't entertain the children and don't let them answer for their mistakes and students are targated

Review for St. Andrews College, Bandra

The professors are really good in our department. They provide excellent education quality and they are also upto trends. They are always ready to include our suggestions into their teaching methods.

The faculty is really good in taking suggestions from the students. There's always an open communication between them and us. We have suveys conducted every 4 to 5 months to understand student trends and to inculcate the changes. Due to the new NEP, the pattern for the exams have been changed. Now students have to attempt only 40 marks semester, twice in a year, the rest 60 marks are achieved through internal assessment.

All About St. Andrew’s College

some teachers are mean and don't finish their portions until the very last minute
felt like they reinforce Christian propaganda subtly in lectures but I guess that everyone now

In first year we had 2 teachers each for 6 subjects and 1 teacher each for remaining two. It was similar in second year and then we only had two for third year. The overall faculty is suffering because a lot of teachers leave often. The english faculty was great in particular, I really admire them. They explained concepts well and were nice to students and also helpful. The psychology faculty did not care that much and just rushed through their portions and sometimes said problematic things. For exams, you have two exams per year in BA, just two sem ends. The paper setting is medium level difficult. A few students fail because they do not study. The course curriculum is relevant but also lowkey outdated especially for English, I feel they can havr better works to study.

A day in andrews

Sports ground, canteen food, good teachers

They speak only english and doesnt solve doubts

The faculties was not approachable at all. The teachers only focused on good students. Only Miss Stui was good at that time she was the economic teacher. There are many teachers who i dont remember including maths Exams were pretty good were easy to crack

Teachers are good college library is good

Few experienced teachers are giid at teaching their respective subjects but last sem we had a new economics teacher who none of the class students could understand therefore no ons was really interested in attending the lectures
