Faculty:faculty of my course is well experienced and a master in its field. they adopt a method of teaching that best suits the needs of the students.
Canteen area i liked the most because all our friends get together and chill together share our feeling and make best use of it
They recognize that financial barriers shouldn't limit potential, and so their affordability extends to a diverse range of scholarship opportunities.

Dislikes

There is a lack of accommodation facility. most of the colleges do not offer hostel facility which is of major concern.
The perception my be different for different students but for me the campus life was not good , the fests are also ot that big as compared to other colleges in north campus .
It was a very messy and difficult process as it cover the chapters which was deleted by cbse and the score required to get north campus is also very high .

A north campus gem

Likes

Facilities are far better then any another college.
Teachers are very best they teach like a friend.
Basket ball ground is good and the cricket pitch is also good.

Dislikes

Announcement hall is in bad condition...
Basket ball ground is good but besides them the stairs is not in good condition
Canteen is too bad there's only non-veg available.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate 10 out of 7 to this course curriculum because in this course the experiment and lab works is too low as compare to another courses like biomedical science, bsc zoology and many more. But it's ok I'm happy with this course.

Review Of Best College

Likes

Supportive teachers , large campus, canteen
Large library , computer labs , classes , infrastructure of college is attractive
NCC, NSS , youth festivals in which students shows their talent

Dislikes

Nothing, but students fights in college , and ragging
Sometimes benches of your classes are dirty
Sometimes students of other colleges are entered in our college

My brother suggests me to join this course, in this course we perform practical on computer, for improvement in this course they hired good faculty for teach DSA , because in computer science field DSA is very important

Likes

I liked the environment the most. It was quite friendly.
Teachers are great and very supportive. They will help you in your personal life too:
There is a place called jannat in the campus which it is. After lectures students come and chill here.

Dislikes

I disliked the placement opportunities. There are no placement for bsc students which i found very disappointing.
No other opportunities like internship etc . No guidance for that

I would rate it a 8/10 experiences of faculty members . Though they were all good but placemnets education was a big drawback . No opportunites were provided and there was no guidance for yet . For education purpose it was all good

SGTB Khalsa College Review

Likes

The location of the college is the biggest pro as it is situated in north campus .
The fee is quite affordable and nominal.
The quality of education provided is grate and the labs are fully equipped.

Dislikes

My college being a sikh minority college offers less diversity as compared to other colleges in terms of students being from different backgrounds and cultures.
There is need for improvement in infrastructure at some points as the college building is 70-80 yrs. old.
College gym is only accessible to people coming from sports background.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placements, however it is very limited in my particular course as most people choose to go for higher studies both in Indian and abroad. People also go for UPSC CSE examination and SSC CGL examination.

Likes

Educated teachers, always cooperatong with students.
Infrastructure is also good along with the Jannat area
Largest sports ground in north campus & other facilities.

Dislikes

Crowd this year is not very good as compared to some years before.
Maintenance should be done regularly in college
Infrastructure need to be more better & other facilities also.

My course is Bs c cs hons & it is not very easy course. It requires a lot of computer knowledge, basic programming & coding. If we talk about teaching, teachers are good but you camnot be fully depended on teachers u will have to complete things by yourself.

Likes

Campus size , specially north campus , you can roam around
Canteen good is good giving wide range of food availability
College ground is big you can play, enjoy watching sports

Dislikes

Not availablity of boys hostel for the college students
Tennis court not open for all students it's mostly shut

My course as a BSc physical science is good for someone who is looking for government exams extending his/her degree to the whose graduation level they can look for different opportunities to do masters in their respective field the field they like not like doing anything repulsively it's good for those who didn't decide after 12th what should they opt and they had science assignment their major

I liked ground so much because it has huge area
Also our campus is very good and beautiful

Dislikes

Hostels could have been more in colleges as the no of hostels is very less

Likes

Its huge ground field and and basketball court
Infrastructure is also very good . Science department has good class like auditorium
Campus is too good to see ,gardens ,like botanical garden are also here.

Dislikes

There is no checking at the entry gate so any one can enter
Some bathrooms are not cleaned well ,thus there can be disease
Some staffs are not good they taunt us to behave like small kids

I chose BSC because I want to go in research field so it gives me very good edge so that I can do what I want . This course not only gives you a good edge but also extra time to explore other things . So just try it effectively to come from it .

All about SGTB Khalsa and college life.

Likes

The faculty is really sweet and focus on getting students to learn. They are available for all the doubts too.
The opportunities to excel as a whole. These opportunities are provided by all the societes which helps in uplifting the personality of a person.
Campus life has been a roller coaster ride for me. From being emotionally drained to pulling off all nighters, it has improved and developed my whole personality.

Dislikes

The infrastructure of our college could have been better than it is.
The college could get a renovation and get painted.
The internships provided in our college are nit on a large scale and could inprove it.

Placement Experience:

I'm currently in 1st year. Since I've not completed even my first year so I've had no experience on placements and internships but our college do offer placements. As per the latest report, the highest and gross package offered during placements 2022 stood at INR 25 LPA and INR 8.10 crore per annum. More than 167 offers were made and over 70 recruiters participated during SGTB Khalsa College placements 2022. Popular recruiters participated include Deloitte, EY, McKinsey & Company, etc. My plans after getting a degree is to complete my masters and then apply for a job.
