8 th semester students are eligible for campus . highest package is 120000,above 8 cgpa students are eligible for campus selection.after complete my degree I continue my studies for crack government exam

I chose this college because it's nearby and also my family members had already studied here. Teaches are good but not that good. Manageable. But the practical labs are pathetic. Most of the equipment are bad or don't work correctly. Exams happen every 6 months as semesters. There are 8 semesters in 4 years.

I chose Mechanical Engineering because it's termed as an evergreen branch and we can jump from this stream to IT later after graduation. The faculty is okayish. Not that bad. They teach you enough to pass but not enough to learn the concepts. The faculties were all qualified, at least Mtech. Teaching methods vary from professor to professor but most they'd teach the basics and not in-depth the subject matters. Internal exams were held 3 times every semester, once every month for 10 marks, And semester would be conducted every 6 months roughly. Passing was not difficult but getting good grades was a little difficult. Other branches used to get better SGPA than us, maybe their assessment of papers was easier.

Padmanava College of engineering is coming under Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT , odisha). As there is always a myth about private colleges that they help in cheating but from my experience padmanava College is strictly against cheating and rather it supports quality of education. If you are a hard working student you will pass the exam very easily.

The college is not good at providing placement but the academics is excellent. The faculty members are very helpful and they teach very honestly and it helps us to clearly understand each and every topics of every subject.

Yes positive is that they are good coordination between teachers and students. But negative is that they are not completing our syllabus in time. There is a problem for us regarding that. Therefore i want to improve our college Like Iit.

In case of study, knowledge This college is very good but in case of placement ,job this college has not good track record since 5,6 years. Admission is also reduced day by day. So for shortage of students placement is also reduced. So if u want placement plzz don't choose this college.

Positive remarks as the college location was in the heart of the city. Communication to the campus was accessible from any part of the city. Bus transport was also provided by the college and the busses ply through out the city

The overall value of money for a guard certificate. management has enough scope to grow.

AIEEE and my rank was about 3 lakhs. I opted to this college as HOD's are from NIT Rourkela and the college staffs were disciplined and helpful.
