- College environment is fabulous since it was established in 1845

Dislikes
- Infrastructure is not bad but there needs a proper maintenance
- Lack of cultural activities, celebrating only few important functions
- Lack of proper ground facilities with sports equipments
Placement Experience:
Placement is not good really since we didn't get any recruitment from core subjects only interdisciplinary related companies will recruit that too at low package. But most of the students prefer to skip the placement

- Admission process is not difficult, application is done on online process they'll publish a detailed rank list with respective categories and they will make a call if we're selected and entire admission procedure will be on the same day
- Syllabus is good and there is no rush in completing the syllabus
- College atmosphere is good and we can get lot a exposures from the industrial experts
Dislikes
- Placements are not good it's averaging only 350000
- Lack of assistant professors makes a big concern
- Lack of infrastructure and canteens are not good enough
Placement Experience:
Placements are not good literally since companies will offer only 3 lpa and below 20 % of the students only gets placed , generally students from 4 th semester are eligible for placements for geology students companies like RAMCO, some other cement industries and GIS based companies will recruit students based on their skill, I'm already working in Geophysical based company after completing my degree I will use that experience to get placed in top oil oriented company

As Presidency College is of the time of English rule, the infrastructure is also kind of English design. Along with this, the classrooms are good... It's a very great college to complete your college life. Placements: For the first time, TCS recruited candidates from Presidency by giving training programme.
Presidency College is an art, commerce, and science college in the city of Chennai in Tamil Nadu, India. On 16 October 1840, this school was established as the Madras Preparatory School before being repurposed as a high school, and then a graduate college.

Course Curriculum Overview:
First of all, I chose Physics for my own personal interest. But regarding the Department of Physics in Presidency College, it's really good. It's the oldest department in the college, known for its prominent alumnus Dr. C. V. Raman and Dr. S. Chandrashekhar.
All the teaching and non-teaching staffs are very supportive and are well experienced. Most of them try to provide their students with maximum exposure via various programs and workshops. Examinations and publication of results happen at the correct time.
