Not a bad college for geology

Typically they will charge 1000 as admission fee and afterwards per sem you have to pay 300 to 400 (changes upon some sem ) and they will provide nsp scholarship and state goverment scholarship also with consideration of your annual income and no others fees will be charged except field trip amount they will charge it in 2nd and 3rd year and you have to pay examination fee separately which depends on how many subject you are going to take up in that semester

Presidency Then and Now

When it was the time of admission, I paid 1350 for the first year followed by 300 for 2nd year and another 300 for 3rd year. As it is a state government college, they doesnt charge high fees. They charge very less amount. They provide scholarship options like state govt. scholarship and central govt. scholarships. I got NSP scholarship processed though our college which was very beneficial for me. The fees structure is very affordable.

The yearly fees I am paying for my studies is 1400. I am staying in Hostel so I need to pay a seperate amount for that.Since I belong to backward class i dont have many scholarship.But I am geting scholarship on the basis of my sslc marks

A review based upon my Experience

First year admission fee is around 1200 , then there will two semester exam fees which is 1100 and 1500 . Second year admission fee is 600 and semester exam fees will increase due to the credits for internship and some other activities so approximately around 4k will be the total second year fees which includes two semester exam fees also but semester exam fees were paid at different times. Since Presidency college is a top tier college so getting a scholarship is very easy like NSP, state scholarship but state scholarship is limited to only tamilnadu students

I'm pursuing M.Sc geology in presidency College Chennai, year wise fee details: First year admission fee is 1100 First semester exam fee - 980 Second semester exam fee- 1130 Total first year fee - 3210 Second year admission fee- 580 Third semester exam fee- 1430 Fourth semester exam fee- approximately 1800 Total second year fee - approximately 4000 every semester marksheet fees are included in the semester exam fees this fee structure is uniform for all category students .For hostel initial payment is 16150 in that 10000 is refundable. There are many scholarships available like NSP about 15 k per month for 10 months in a year and state scholarship scheme varies according to their community's and also ongc scholarship is about 48000 per year

The 1st reason was I like the college is environment, environment of college our college is majestically standing in front of beach. The college atmosphere was beautiful. all facilities are available in this college. in 2018, I was admit in college, the fee was affordable and other college compared to less. I pay fee totally 3000. It's very low and affordable. my batchmates are rural guys, in this college provide scholarship yearly 6000 per student, thank you

1.the year wise fees varies based arts courses and science courses for science (especially physics) the yearly fee is Rs.300 2.semester fee for each paper is Rs.75 and statement of marks is 100 and application form is 50 , paid in online. 3.The scholarship are available like NSP and SSP.
