ARSD encourages UG and PG students to pursue research in various sciences and other faculty projects through its Innovation Cell and department-led projects. In science departments, such as Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science, faculties have set up various well-equipped laboratories, such as a Computational Lab and IoT-enabled labs, and students are encouraged to engage in research about the projects they are working on and by doing some hands-on experiments and interdisciplinary projects. The Innovation Council organizes various hackathons and symposiums and also collaborates with industry partners to host events for students. The students also contribute articles or research papers for the college's research journal, or may choose to participate in DU's cluster innovation programmes.

Fees and Financial Aid:

I paid around 60k last year in september while I was taking admission in this college. Only for my course(Bsc CS(Hons)) the fees is this much otherwise for other courses fees is around 15-20k per year. This 60k includes everything about the course including the tution fees, caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees, lab fees and the other compulsory charges during the course completion as per my category(which is SC). I think fees for all my batchmates is same even if there category is different. There are some fees concussion for the students who apply for it. I don't think the fees will be increasing this year. Although the fees will decrease for us in the 2nd year.

So this is my first year and the fees is around 19k which was given during admission and it's around for 1 year approx which includes all tution fees lab fees excluding exam fees which has to be given every semester. I am from general category so this was my fees around 19k and looking for category wise fees it varies around 16k to 18k . 2k -3k difference. Well there are multiple scholarship you can see on Google by searching the scholarship provided by arsd and the main one is taneja foundation which is given on basis of merit cum need to best 10 students

The fees of bsc cs hons is 58820 for 1 year If you talk about whole course it is 176460 for 3 year And 235280 for 4 year Yes we can apply for a scholarship but it does help that much the scholarship is for those who is financially weak. The fees remain same for all years no increase in fees The course is not that affordable because as compare to other we are paying 3 to 4 time more

Fees and Financial Aid:

Well the fee structure is pretty simple , you pay around approximately 18000-19000 per year for the course i selected. The amount varies from course to course but the structure is pretty much the same. You pay the yearly fees at the start of the college year which is around july-august. There is no extra addmission fees or snything similar but there is a very small examination fees approx. 1500-2500 depending on you subject this exam fess is paid per semester, so about twice a year. There are a lot of scolarships available although most of them are either for girls or are given to minorities.

19000 is the total fees for 1 year for BSc Physics Hons, if scholarship applied, it would only be applicable to tuition fees, category reservations are there for fees but i personally have no idea. There are financial aid for girls and SC/ST, and book aid as well for the needy

Fees structure was like 12000rs fees for every year. Which means for 3years of bsc 36000 fees. And also their is fees for examination according to your no of subjects. In my case i pay 1300rs per semester as examination fees Nsp and various other scholarships are available for economic weak students

Timetable for classes is mixed up depending upon your elective courses causing long gaps in the schedule making you stay long times in the college waiting for the ext class.

Fees and Financial Aid:

I've paid 16.7k in my first year of college upon admission, 18.5k in my second year of college. The college provides various kinds of scholarships including Alumni Funded scholarship, Book Aid for students (Max amount of 5k INR), University also provides fee reimbursement for students studing in DU (Max reimbursement upto 20k) etc. Examination fees are not included in the college fee, they should be paid for during every semester when applying for examinations at end. Examination fees are as per mentioned - Standard fee for each subject - 200 Practical fee for subjects including practical exam - 150

It may not be right to compare the colleges under DU among each other. As most of them have similar curriculum and teaching techniques.

But if infrastructure is considered Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College (DDUC) is far better than other colleges under DU. As it is a newly established institution, the facilities provided are upgraded with the latest technology.

They also are known to have a very highly experienced faculty, some of them even having 20-30 years of teaching experience. DDUC is popular for its Science and Commerce streams.

Therefore if you wish to choose among DDUC and ARSD College for an Honours degree in Computer Science, it is suggested that you go for the former rather than the latter.
