Campus Chronicles : A Review Of Mount Carmel College

i appreciate college conducting clubs , events , and activities
They provide us placement in good industries/ companies
Access to modern technology and resources

Dislikes

some students dont like thier mentors as some mentors are actually very rude for no reason with students
Every student should be treated equally but some clubs and teachers dont see each student equivalent
ratio of boys and girls right now is girls - 70 boys - 30

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students are eligible for campus placements companies such as - Accenture, Amazon , Green Room , Swiggy , Myntra , Tesco , Ernst , IBM and many more Higgest Package Offers About Rs 7.50 Lakhs per annum and average package offers about Rs 2.95 Lakhs per annum . 70% of student get placements and my plan is to be one of them too

A brief of MCC

Likes

Campus is very homely and well maintained
The faculty is highly educated and well versed
Latest syllabus is followed and added into the curriculum

Dislikes

Washrooms are not very well maintained which could be improved

Placement Experience:

From the second year students become eligible for placements, they can sit for placements and go for internships , many get PPO as well. Around 60% of the students easily get placed every year ,the companies that come are big 4 , Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan , arcasium, etc. I personally plan onto sit for placements and get a job

Mcc is the best

Likes

It was a girl college, very comfortable, a very good environment
Alot of enjoyment everyday, every other day a event keeps going on
Teachers were very friendly, canteen food was very good

Dislikes

Should not have taken admission for boys
When attendance is low they don't let us write exams
Because of that our 1 year gets wasted, they need to understand

Placement Experience:

There are many different companies placements happening in mount Carmel college pcw, Accenture, dousche pvt ltd and many more, soo many of my friends got selected but students who have backlogs cannot apply

REVIEW ON MOUNTS

Likes

MCC provides with a number of associations and clubs for active participation of students
The infrastructure of the college is old yet proud. Mcc buildings are different and has shade of pink in them
MCC has a wide variety of programs going on throught the year. Major fest of MCC is known as cul -ah

Dislikes

Infrastructure being old also serves to the disadvantages of the college
Admission is provided readily for MCPUC students
Lack of sports infrastructure. The college is trying to improve the same

Placement Experience:

The commerce department of the college provides with a high number of placements to its students. Students are eligible for placements from the 4 th semester of the 2nd year. The average pack is rs 1500000 Commerce students have a higher percentage of students being placed thane other departments. Pursue ACCA

My personal opinion about MCC

Likes

Facilities are good , Education are well good
Many association are there it enhances our skills
College provide us to showcase our talent through many competition,fest and so on

Dislikes

Extra courses must be provided by the college to enhance ur skills as the technology has been developed
Recent technology has to be taught by the college
As a college they should not ask the students to pay for the placement.. placement must be provided by the college

Placement Experience:

From 2 year students start applying for placement.Eligibilty criteria 70% no backlogs, Kpmg,pwc, JP Morgan, Infosys, Deloitte,and many more companies had come but I did not apply for placement because of the fee I'm not sure about the package offered by the companies

All about Mount Carmel College

Likes

The faculty was good, they taught us well. The college was liberal on fee payment. They also weren’t strict on dress codes etc. very little restrictions. There are so many culturals to take part in too. We can learn so much from mcc
Mcc taught us how to face new environment, encouraged us to take part in various events or atleast volunteer in it, it also had so many events where we could enjoy and compete with other colleges.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is a little old, though they’re constructing new buildings, they could improve the facilities available for students.

Placement Experience:

The placements are very good here. Almost everyone who applied for it have got placed All top companies come for placements including the big 4 with good packages for a fresher of bcom it is pretty good

Reasons to love mount Carmel

Likes

The mangement of the college is fair and manages each and everything properly
The fest are well organised , the rules and regulations are followed strictly
Student welfare and hospitality management

The college changed into co-head this year

Likes

The best thing about Mount Carmel is it allows you to grow and learn.
Opportunities are wide, engagement with teachers,friends is really good as we get to engage and boost up our knowledge
Brings up confidence in you and creates an environment to grow and showcase your interpersonal skills.

Dislikes

The faculty sometimes aren't up to expectations
Campus is small and people are more and there is less of space to go about the campus
I think overall everything is just very good in terms of placements and opportunities but individual basic knowledge is required

Course Curriculum Overview:

Initially I wanted to do BCA but the course that iam in which is Bcom+CMA which is integrated and which is a great choice. As it has alot of scope for career growth and will make your knowledge about finance the best one

Likes

I love the Campus. It has lot many trees and plants.
We have a great exposure to attend events and participate which boosts our over-all personality

Placement Experience:

The college does provide placements and it is one of the best College placements we have in the starting package is from 3 lakh to 4 per annum we get trained for the placements as well we are given good training which help us to crack the interviews and we get all the good companies with provide us good amount of salary as freshers.

Environment and green the vibe is very cool there will many fest where you can enjoy and enhance your knowledge too
Vibe trees, plant and campus is vrey cool. Where you can spend in time peacefull
Vrey amazing teacher helpfull and placement r good

Dislikes

Collage is too crowded each classes we must
Wait a long time there can be more fans.
Well washroom must be clean and more moderate
