The campus is beautiful and the food in the cafeteria is also something to dote on. It has some of the most amazing teachers in bangalore especially for my degree that is bachelor of commerce.
Going back to the campus it is situated right in the prime of the city and that allows for us to have access to great peers from other colleges and excellent industry experiences during our industry visits.
Placements into these offices is also very accessible due to the location and the brand name and legacy that Mounts carries, because of our excellent alma mater which has been very well placed into several prestigious companies paving way for us.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mounts has a good prestigious name for commerce degrees such as Bachelor of Commerce and bachelor of business administration and it lives upto the name as the faculty and administration specialise in this field and the whole college is built to incorporate these degrees to the maximum. The curriculum is up to date with industry standards and caters to the placement cells needs as well

MCC bsc FAD review

MCC has a great environment and the campus life is great as well. They also have a lot of fest and fun activities happening now and then. There are around 65 associations which are super cool and fun
The lecturers are sweet and nice. They also have elective subjects and extra credit courses which are beneficial. You will make great friends here and have a lot of fun
Travelling is also very convenient as there is metro and bus facilities

Dislikes

Some information is passed way too late which is a little inconvenient for the students

Placement Experience:

Students can register to the placement cell from 5th semester Recruiters are companies like Accenture, Starbucks, TCS, prestige, JP Morgan, koskii and much more The placement process will be made clear and mentored by the teachers

MCC -- THE CALM BEFORE STORM

Internship opportunities..exposure..clubs ... teaching methods and faculty
Turning into a university soon which is great interms of going abroad later

Dislikes

Mentors giving last minute information making it difficult for students to follow up and then blamed on students

Placement Experience:

We do have amazing placements and the big 5 as well . The placement process however is not clear . Even as a first year id love to understand whats in store . If you address 2000 children at once . Nobody is going to comprehend anything.

Faculty way of teaching and case based learning
Placement and internship opportunities is given to every student.
Clubs and associations gives state level as well as national level opportunities to every student

Placement Experience:

The average package is around 4.5 lakhs. The placement cell is very helpful and professional. They train each and every student before the process of placement starts. Eligibility is from 4 semesters. The companies visited are around 200+. The highest package is around 10 lakhs 100% placements.

Likes

Teachers are nice and supportive and if we have any problems they r always ready to help us and even sometimes they get angry n scold us at the end of the day they want the best of all the students
My friends and senior are so nice and kind hearted always there for each other biggest cheerleaders, ready to help , fun supportive i have so much to say words r not enough to convey my emotions

Dislikes

For each subject classroom are so far away from each other and feel exhausted to go

Course Curriculum Overview:

As for tourism it was a vast field were many jobs opportunities are available and history also a fun subject with lot of knowledge. Tourism has a vast valuable information and knowledge we need to help people in travel industry . We need to have information about the map and name of states and no.s of states present and the teaching method of MCC helps alot to understand these subject alot easier and nicer and give us many more knowledge related to the subject that we have no ideas apart from the main subject other subject also nicely and easily taught but French is a little difficult for me but if I try harder I can make it easier for myself. For MCC their is 3 exms: 2 CIA exm first one written and second one is online and the third exm is our end sem exm, for 1 sem we have 5 months period and I think it's nice and adaptable

The college has various types of courses in every field. This college specifically gives it's greater light to the business administration students and course. The teaching methods are very well advisable as well, it's just that it has to be a little more practical in some matter. There are frequent revisions, tests that happens after every complications of the chapters.

The management system of the institute is very rigid
Unnecessary rules and dress code which we have to adhere
The change in education system and limited yime given during exams

Placement Experience:

From third or the end of second semester one is able to apply for placement or campus placement. There big companies such as Wipro, deloitte,etc which visits the college every year for recruitment. The highest offered was 30000 per month. To apply for placement one should not have any supplementary and above 60-70%. After my degree or course I would join master or take a job if offered.

Placement Experience:

The Placements of college are opened for 3rd year or 4th year students. The packages offered by companies depends on individuals semester marks and there experiences, internships etc. The highest package can go upto ?1 lakh/monthly and lowest can go to ?12,000/monthly. The percentage of students getting placements are also high. But personally I would go for a master's degree after graduation.

I did not like the faculty members as well
Teaching method should also change few teachers they just read what ever is there in the guide rather explaining it

The main reason for me to choose Bcom and in my third semester I took HR as my main stream as I am very much interested in management programs human resourse I am very much interested in theory subjects more then Practicals area for improvements in the course curriculum I dont have any but in teaching methods must be changed explaining a subject to students need to check with the students if they are understanding and must try to help them in other manner if they are facing any difficulties to understand.

Course Curriculum Overview:

After this course lot of job opportunities and good salary package is there so i choose this course. All the faculties are very friendly and also strict. Lecturers are has solid grip on the subject.They are all PHD holders. The Teacher and faculty ratio is 1:30. The teaching is excellent and if we have any doubt my lecturers immediately clear the doubt and all the lecturers finish the syllabus before one month of the semester exam. In one month full we have mock test and practice test series. For this reason we not face any difficulties in the main examination. And also we score more marks. All these credit goes to my teaching faculties.

What is your review of Mount Carmel College Bangalore?

Mount Carmel College is one of the finest in Bangalore. It has received star college award for the science department. The campus has a great student crowd with fantastic energy.

The college has good infrastructure. Every class has a hybrid board for presentation. The campus has a lot of uncluttered spaces to socialize and study. The sports facilities are pretty good as well. The basketball and the fields are well-maintained. The campus also has a well-equipped gym.

The professors are well-qualified and helpful. The undergraduate courses taught at the college have a decent balance between theoretical and practical subjects.

Mount Carmel College placements are pretty good. In the recent placement, the median CTC offered to students was INR 3 LPA. The number of companies visiting the campus is increasing each year. Big MNCs like Wipro, Dell, E&Y, JP Morgan, etc. visit the campus drive.

I have a few friends from Mount Carmel College Bangalore. Their experience at the college has been quite good. Here are some snippets of their experience at the college.

Placements: Many reputed companies visit the college to recruit students. In the recent placement drive, the average and highest CTC offered at the institute was 2.95 LPA and 7 LPA. The placement cell also conducts placement training for the students, before the placement drive.
Facilities: The laboratory facilities offered at the institute are quite good. The 1st floor of the LSCB block has all the science labs. The computer labs use all the modern technologies.
Course Curriculum: The course curriculum followed for B.Com is quite good. Teachers use live examples to teach.
Fest: MCC organizes many fests. CulAh is quite reputed in Bangalore.

Overall, doing B.Com from Mount Carmel College is a good option.
