Mount Carmel college bca review

Likes

The classes are stress free and are purely co-operative
There are totally 65 associations so students can join whatever they want

Dislikes

I don't like the same canteen for puc and degree students because it creates a huge crowd
Seperate lines should be opened for boys.

Mount carmel college - finest in bangalore

Likes

The teachers are very friendly and they help students understand the subject nicely.
The campus has a lot of greenery, which is really good for refreshing students mind
The college organizes a lot of fests to keep the students engaged in activities other than studies

Dislikes

The time table is a little bit haywire. We students have to run from one class to other after every period

The college offers campus placements Students are eligible for placement from 5th semester There are plenty of companies that have visited mount carmel college and every year a huge amount of offers get made Companies such as biocon , biogen and etc have visited the campus and hired the students based on their marks and cgpa I plan to pursue master's after completing my bachelor's degree

Environment and green the vibe is very cool there will many fest where you can enjoy and enhance your knowledge too
Vibe trees, plant and campus is vrey cool. Where you can spend in time peacefull
Vrey amazing teacher helpfull and placement r good

Dislikes

Collage is too crowded each classes we must
Wait a long time there can be more fans.
Well washroom must be clean and more moderate

The campus environment, the canteen, the in college stationery so we don't have to wander around.
The campus Library, it consists of both ebook library as well as in house library and there is also a digital computer room where we can access and use the computers when ever we want.
The sports event, there is a lot of sports events for athletes.

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for campus placement right from the first sem, there is no age limit as such The company's that came in our college were EY, de shaw, Accenture, Ditto, Pedal start, Estudio, Global Montessori, MirrAR, Hikeon technologies, Edioak, progress software, Bosch global software, hope, etc. The highest package range from 20 lakhs to 3 lakhs per annum. The minimum criteria of the percentage of students getting placed are 75%, and it also depends on each company the criteria can vary, some company also considers both 10th and puc percentage as well.

A roller coaster experience

The placement cell the classroom facility they have very nice fests and interesting themes for fests
Well maintained college premises have a projector in all classes
Teaching staff are very good . They have cctv in all classes

Dislikes

The canteen is way too costly and take a very long time
The break time is very small and thr campus is small
Some of the teachers are rude attendance is very strict

The course i choose is bcom regular i just wanted a plain degree so i opted for it . Its a very nice course in the college the teaching staff are very educated and trained . But the timings doesnt allow us to do anything co curiculum activities. And the exams are mostly in the mornings

Faculty is great , the way they teach is understandable.
Cafeteria is the best place where you can spend your free time .

Placement Experience:

From 2nd semester students are eligible for placements. Almost 30% of the students are placed in different companies. I've planed to do my further studies after my degree. Tata Consultancy Services offers 3.5lakh p.a.

As Mount Carmel is a reputed college and has a good popularity , it had good placements as well there are many top 4 companies coming for the placements every year such as JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, KPMG etc

The happening college life and amazing faculty. Strong alumni and the campus is really nice.
Affordable with quality education and variety of courses definitely a must apply for
Co-curricular activities and in house programs are also really amazing.

Dislikes

It can be hectic sometimes but yes it's all in balance once you have settled

The career prospects is mentioned with the details of the course on the website. The Hindu and Tata consultancy services being the most prominent recruiters along with Myntra and many more. Last year the student placement percentage was 98% on campus. After third year you're eligible for campus placements.

Placement Experience:

Internships can be availed in the first semester itself. Students can avail job placement offers from the fifth semester. The college has an annual placement fair as well to help students find the perfect fit for them.

MCC is best!!

Mount Carmel College is one of the best colleges for girls as actresses like Deepika Padukone and Anushka Sharma have been alumni of our college.
The career courses of MCC are renowned as soon much variety in B.Com is something which I have not seen elsewhere.

Dislikes

The pay packages are low compared to other colleges and that's the only thing that I disliked about MCC.

Placement Experience:

Almost in final year students can apply for placements or go for MRCs as placements were lesser. Only 30% students got placed in 2022 but it was because we were getting over hard hit Covid then. The numbers might have surge but still placements percentage wasn't that great.

What is your review of Mount Carmel College Bangalore?

Mount Carmel College is one of the finest in Bangalore. It has received star college award for the science department. The campus has a great student crowd with fantastic energy.

The college has good infrastructure. Every class has a hybrid board for presentation. The campus has a lot of uncluttered spaces to socialize and study. The sports facilities are pretty good as well. The basketball and the fields are well-maintained. The campus also has a well-equipped gym.

The professors are well-qualified and helpful. The undergraduate courses taught at the college have a decent balance between theoretical and practical subjects.

Mount Carmel College placements are pretty good. In the recent placement, the median CTC offered to students was INR 3 LPA. The number of companies visiting the campus is increasing each year. Big MNCs like Wipro, Dell, E&Y, JP Morgan, etc. visit the campus drive.

I have a few friends from Mount Carmel College Bangalore. Their experience at the college has been quite good. Here are some snippets of their experience at the college.

Placements: Many reputed companies visit the college to recruit students. In the recent placement drive, the average and highest CTC offered at the institute was 2.95 LPA and 7 LPA. The placement cell also conducts placement training for the students, before the placement drive.
Facilities: The laboratory facilities offered at the institute are quite good. The 1st floor of the LSCB block has all the science labs. The computer labs use all the modern technologies.
Course Curriculum: The course curriculum followed for B.Com is quite good. Teachers use live examples to teach.
Fest: MCC organizes many fests. CulAh is quite reputed in Bangalore.

Overall, doing B.Com from Mount Carmel College is a good option.
