If we take the fees, fees was very much affordable as it was a government college, it was approx 8k something per year but yes sometimes there were other compulsory charges ranging from 500 to 2000 but barely! And if we talk about employment opportunities, the college was very interested in engaging the students in the curricular activities but there is a lack of proper placement cells in the college and hardly they provide internships.

Placements of our collge are quiet decent. Many big companies like deloitte, Tcs have come for campus Placements. Average package is aroud 4 lakhs of our college. Also if there is no campus placement, student can easily stand our from the crowd off campus as our college holds a good position in the country.

My course is most common course among all the universities. But it provides edge to explore every field. Even if you are graduating from a commerce degree. You can still explore fields like Arts and Science.

Bcom is a course most of the commerce students prefer for graduation. As a CA student I chose bcom as the syllabus aligns with CA course syllabus. The course and curriculum are no doubt great but I think there should be little changes in teaching style . Emphasis should be there on practical learning and understanding the concepts deeply , to better prepare for the real world experience. However teachers and their understanding of subjects is really good , classes are not taken regularly. Most of the time classes stand cancelled. That's a negative point. The exam timings are quite comfortable. Difficulty level , as per me is average and good for the course. Practicals are also taken before theory exams .

I didn't heard about any placement in my college till now but there are seniors which has been told that they will get placement after their graduation from the college in MNCs There are many local companies that approach our college package offer colleges 6lpa and the highest is 24 lpa I am preparing for CAT examination and I'll aim for IIMs

I am also a part of placement cell of my college generally students are eligible for sitting in the interviews in fifth semester and they get the offer letter in sixth semester the highest package is 18PLA.

To be honest there wasnt much thought went before choosing this course,i mean i like my course and the teachers and the material that they provide but the other additional subjects like sec,vac are more meaninless.they just dont add any benefit to the course

The thing which motivated me to pursue this course is it give detailed and holistice view of all the subjects i have studied being a students of commerce the only thing which need improvement is business research teachers

The specific aspect of this curriculum that influenced me to choose this course is that this course provide deep knowledge in deacision making not only in business but also in personal life. Ig also give financial knowledge.

People are eligible after 2nd year for placements and the average package is around 3-4 lakh but don't rely on college placement. Apply off Campus or opt for any higher degree like MBA or side by side any professional course like CA CFA CS
