MCASC Pune Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Actually every year the placement is carried out in full swing. 2/3 of the students get employment even before the final exams but this year due to covid we couldn't do the campus placement drive. However our senior had a great experience.

I choose mca because I aspire to learn practical knowledge about programming. MCA provides the right platform for programming and also mca Course gives way to go in the IT industry. The faculty of the modern college is so good and has supportive teaching staff and always learning the right path. The faculty of the modern college is well experienced like experience in its companies and other knowledge is also provided by staff and teaching method is also very understanding. If we study hard so it couldn't be hard to pass and as per the paper marks, time was scheduled.

I think in the 5-6th sem companies start visiting the college. The placements are really good, students who perform well had got offers from big companies like TCS, Infosys, Quick heal and many more. The highest package offered was about 10lpa and the average was around 2-5lpa. Professors told us that only a few students have not been offered any packages but the rest were offered good jobs.

As a student in the Modern College and being a biotechnology student, the College is star rated college under DBT (Department of Biotechnology) . And gives the opportunities to study in Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology , Australia 2.)RASA life sciences, Pune .3.) Applied Nanomaterials pvt.limited, Pune.etc . The students getting out from here also get into Boston , Sydney and other well known institutions. I plan to complete my M.Sc Biotechnology and go for the industrial biotechnology in a drugs and chemicals field.

Pros:- College is located in the prime location , easy to travel from almost anywhere. Admission is online so one can easily fill up the form at home and submit in the college . This college has a very Nice faculty and well equipped labs . Cons:- The campus of the college is really small and it becomes really crowdy in the afternoon .

The college was recommended by a senior of my field and it seemed to be a good place to study my ongoing course. The admission process is based on merit. A more student friendly and non biased environment could have been appreciated. The fee structure is bit out of margin. Facilities are moderate.

From TY the students are eligible for the placements. If the student is very well in all the 3 years then there are chances for those students to get placement. The company's such as infosis , Wipro technologies, IBM, KPIT, etc are been placed. There are very less students who get placement such as if there are 250 students 15-20 students get placements. My plan after my degree is to get a nice job or if I didn't get then I will continue my studies in MSc computer science.

There is no placement for this course. TCS was the only company which used to come. From 2020 TCS does not conduct any placement program.

Placement is average in this College. As a fresher you can expect starting salary of 15 to 20k in a month. Many companies visit this college every year including Infosys.

Aided college. I got admission on the basis of my marks and being a college with government grant it helped me financially. Though now it is being autonomous so fees structure may be different. The campus is quiet good.
