Through the life of Modern

This was the first college that I applied to. I had to go to and fro for some paperwork but the admission process is quite simple. As now everything is centralized first you have to fill the online form then it displays the merit list where you can know whether you are eligible to apply. After that, the process becomes very simple. The merit list is according to the cut off so if you make it through the merit list marks are not an issue. If you have failed any standard before then you require the gap certificate. Previous year passing certificates are required.

I was interested in computer engineering however I opted for computer science. It's actually one and the same. Not a big difference. The faculty is really great. Very cooperative, understanding ,makes learning understandable, help you through entire syllabus.The non teaching staf is also very helpful. The college is quite big so the non teaching staff helps in finding different departments. The teaching staff is well educated some of the teachers have even completed PHD and doctorates in their respective subjects. The exams are very involving it's not just about memory but also practical application. I wouldn't say easy but the exams make you take more and more interest in learning.

Major companies like Wipro, Infosys have been granted jobs through the campus placement drive. The annual packages have been great. As the students are freshers major roles cannot be immediately offered but for experience and money making the opportunities are great.

Actually every year the placement is carried out in full swing. 2/3 of the students get employment even before the final exams but this year due to covid we couldn't do the campus placement drive. However our senior had a great experience.

According to me, the fees are not that high but not that low too. It's not entirely affordable also the instalment policy is not rightly managed. Instalments should be divided equally but here they provide only 2 instalment policies.

The campus is very refreshing and very spacious. It has a cricket ground, basketball court, football ground, cafeteria, well-maintained library, spacious corridors and classrooms. The building has two staircases side by side to avoid crowds. Sports has an important place in this college as many students show interest in different types of sports. The cafeteria is clean and a variety of food is available
