It is a very well managed institute everything is well managed and well functional.
They particularly focus on the academics

There is no interaction between seniors and juniors so lack of guidance

I applied to the vit and also gave the exam and i also cleared it but was not getting the course of my choice so thats why then i chose this college. Many of my friends and known people suggested me this college. Firstly it is not too far away from my hometown and secondly it gives a decent placement. This college is affiliated with RGPV that is a government college in Bhopal. To get admission in this college you have to have given the JEE exam and scored a decent percentile. According to the percentile you are given a branch and respective building. There are total of 4 buildings in the college. If you have good percentile then you will get the main building followed by Excellence,Science and University buildings

It will be difficult to get CS at LNCT Bhopal main campus, with a JEE score of 56. But he can get other branches such as Chemical, IT, Production, EE, etc. He can also try for the other two colleges under LNCT group, i.e. LNCTS, and LNCTE. In terms of placements, there is not too much difference between these institutes.

Can I get into CSE in LNCT Bhopal with a rank of 118,000 in the Mains?

While a clear-cut answer to this question isn’t possible, here are some insights regarding ranks and admissions according to my friends who are currently studying there.

One of my friends is a final year student from LNCT pursuing B.Tech in IT. He secured a rank of 1,27,000 in 2017 but he wasn’t able to secure a seat in CSE Branch with that rank. Instead, he took a seat in IT in the 1st round itself. Yes, he didn’t wait for the 2nd or 3rd round. However, you can wait for at least the 3rd round to see if your chances increase for the CSE branch.

Secondly, it also depends on your quota. Most of the time it is quite impossible to secure a seat with such a rank without any quota. My friend who belonged to the unreserved category couldn’t get in even EC with a rank of 69,000.

In recent years the required cutoff for CSE at LNCT Bhopal was 83761.

At last, if you are looking forward to a bright future in CSE or IT, establish your skills in programming on your own. If you are dependent on your college for learning something such as programming, your chances of grabbing programming job profiles are less.

This happened to one of my friends. He waited for a few rounds and was able to secure admission later. I would advise you to opt for CSE and IT as your preferences in the first and second rounds of counseling when you are required to fill out your choices for the admission procedure.

It is suggested you select CSE in the first place and IT in the second place during filling your choice, and you should do this in the second round too. Through this way, you would securely get admission in IT if not CSE.

One of my friends graduated from LNCT Bhopal and here are some important things that you need to know, before making any decision.

It is not a great deal to get admission in LNCT. You just have to choose a particular branch you are interested in.
In LNCT Main, most of the students want to get admission to CSE. Otherwise, they go for ECE or Mechanical branches.
If you have JEE mains AIR between 1 lakh to 1.5 lakh (Branch specific) and 85% or above in board exams. Then you can take admission very easily.
The Home State quota is also very profitable. Just select the branch during state counseling very carefully. If your residence is Madhya Pradesh and your family income is less than 5 lakh annually.
