LNCT Bhopal admission is open for the year 2026. LNCT Bhopal offers 48 courses under Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs, which lead to two primary degrees: B.Tech. and M.Tech. LNCT offers a B.Tech program in eleven specialisations. Admission to the B.Tech program is through the JEE Main, followed by DTE MP counselling. LNCT also offers BE, B.Tech {Lateral}, MBA, M.E, MCA, and M.Tech.

Admission to the M.Tech program is through the GATE exam, followed by DTE MP counselling.

Admission:

I applied to the vit and also gave the exam and i also cleared it but was not getting the course of my choice so thats why then i chose this college. Many of my friends and known people suggested me this college. Firstly it is not too far away from my hometown and secondly it gives a decent placement. This college is affiliated with RGPV that is a government college in Bhopal. To get admission in this college you have to have given the JEE exam and scored a decent percentile. According to the percentile you are given a branch and respective building. There are total of 4 buildings in the college. If you have good percentile then you will get the main building followed by Excellence,Science and University buildings

Yes, it's very much possible to get admission to LNTC Bhopal even without clearing JEE. students can get admission Management Quota. However, it's important to note that your annual fees will be much higher than students who got admission through JEE. Additionally, you might be asked to pay some donations too. So, one needs to be financially strong to get admission to LNCT without giving JEE.

A friend of mine who is also an ex-student of LNCT Bhopal says that the institute has lost its charm and genuineness since 2010. The focus has shifted from imparting quality education to increasing the batch size making it a money-making machine. Because of the Management quota, the quality of the crowd is now compromised just for the sake of money. This has affected the overall academic ambiance so I would suggest you reconsider your decision to join this institute.

Should I take admission in LNCT Bhopal with EC branch? How are the placements?

The EC Branch at LNCT is not as good as CS or IT branch. You should rather opt for another private college if you do not will to be a regular.

You will be obligated to maintain a 75% attendance. Failure of which is met by serious repercussions and expulsion from placement session.
If you have sketched out your college life as fun, lively, and full of adventure then you are requested to rethink your decision. You would not be able to spare much time from your college schedule for your skill development.
The co-curricular activities and various other programs are held here too but that does not add up to your development in any way.
As for the placement opportunities, you should not be keeping high hopes. Most of the companies that visit LNCT are mainly for recruiting qualified students in the IT field.

Other than C and C++ it would rather be essential to learn technologies. This might add up to your already hectic series of academics. In the EC branch, the students are not provided with decent high-paying job opportunities other than the average packages.

Hence, you should consider other private institutes as well if you do want to regret your decision. The CSE branch is terrific here and without hesitation, you can opt for it.

If you have BCA or B.Sc degree than you can apply for direct entry in MCA lateral program. For MCA regular course, you have to sit for the MP Pre-MCA exam.
