Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit in the placement in the last year. In the third year it is expected that you should at least do an internship so that you add on to your resume and also grab some experience so that it becomes easy to crack a good job for yourself. From the 2nd semester the training and placement classes are held so that students are guided properly and given an overall overview of the placement system. Companies like Infosys,Cognizant and TCS run their drive the college and students who fullfil the criteria of companies are allowed to sit for the interview. The placement opportunities at LNCT Bhopal are tremendous.
The major companies that come to hire are Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro TCS, Capzemini, L&T, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Amdocs, etc.
Most of the students are recruited by these companies.
You should not worry about getting placed here as they guarantee placements to all students.

Among the state private engineering colleges, LNCT is ranked first in every category. In terms of college, the campus is nice, and the infrastructure is good (as per state colleges).

Perks:

The college atmosphere is often positive. Classes are held on a regular basis, and there is strong discipline.
The placement scenario is excellent especially for CS, IT, and EC.
Wipro, Infosys, and cognizant are among the companies that recruit students from LNCT. These companies specialize in mass recruitment. These companies offered annual packages ranging from 3 to 3.5 lakhs.
Many small telecommunications companies also recruit at colleges. The package offered is around 3 lakhs.
In LNCT, students mostly study CS, IT, and EC. Given that it is an RGPV college, one can expect additional study-level parameters.

Disadvantages:

The need for 75% attendance for good session grades is inconvenient.
It becomes more like a school with a higher attendance percentage.
Other competitive tests (if desired) cannot be prepared for till the third year. For good grades, attendance is important.

LNCT is among the most popular private colleges in Bhopal. The infrastructure, facilities of this college are excellent.

Faculty:

Most of the faculty of this college have completed their BE from a private or government college and there are also professors who have completed their M.Tech and Ph.D. in their respective subjects.

Curriculum:

The course curriculum of this college is great as it is a part of Rajiv Gandhi Technical University. The syllabus is balanced for the 1st and 2nd years and it is updated regularly. There are various subjects for understanding operating systems, computation and networking. But the coding culture is not that great.

Examination Pattern:

The examination pattern is quite effective too. There are adequate days of gap between two exams in every semester and the practical exams are being conducted before 20-25 days of the main theoretical exams. There are also internal exams and if you perform well in these, then the main exams will be very easy for you.

Placements:

The placement scenario is also very good but it is continuing to decrease every year. A lot of popular companies such as Infogain, Birlasoft, Infosys, Syntel visit the campus for interviews but the packages offered now are less compared to the last few years. In recent years the average CTC offered ranges between 3-8 LPA.

Hence, the facilities and the faculty of LNCT Bhopal are very good to pursue CSE, but the placement scenario is becoming poor every year and this is a matter of concern.

Since I am a part of LNCT Group of Technologies, Bhopal, the insights I provide can be helpful for a few.

The IT sector placements, by the organization, apparently offer a variety of opportunities.
A really good amount of recruiters visit the campus, especially from the IT sector, and hire a large number of candidates.
VMware, back in 2019, offered the highest salary package of almost around INR 18 LPA and hired 4 students side by side.
The best advice to secure a position at the top companies is to put as much effort as required into brushing your skills from the scratch.
It is better to stay updated with the latest technological trends of the industry and keep up with their demands, as and when required.
You should invest a reasonable amount of time into working upon aptitude, and logical reasoning, alongside keeping a good hold on your communication skills as well.

These are aspects that play a pivotal role in determining whether or not you are the best fit for a firm. It is suggested that you keep on polishing your skills more than wondering about aspects otherwise.

Is LNCT Bhopal good for mechanical placement?

I have a few friends from LNCT Bhopal and according to their experience, the Mechanical department doesn’t have a good placement record.

Very few core companies visit the campus to recruit Mechanical Engineering students. Also, the number of vacancies for such companies is less. VOITH, AIS Glass, Triveni Turbines are some of the core recruiting companies for Mechanical Engineering.
Other than the core companies you can also sit for IT companies or marketing companies.

Overall the placements of the institute are quite good, despite few underperforming branches. LNCT has good placement records for departments like IT, CSE, and ECE, alongside a placement percentage sloping far ahead to at least 95%. In the recent placement drive, the average and highest CTC offered was 3 LPA and 21 LPA.

Which is good both in placement and faculty: Amity Gwalior or LNCT Bhopal?

If you are getting CS at LNCT Bhopal, then you should opt for it.

The admission process in LNCT is not a cakewalk in comparison with Amity Gwalior. Amity Gwalior needs 60% aggregate for taking admission. Direct admission is also done at Amity Gwalior.
However, in LNCT Bhopal, you will need to qualify for the qualifying exam and go through the online MP counseling process.
In terms of campus, the campus of Amity is very good as compared to LNCT. If you want to go for any coaching then both of these colleges are a little far from the main city.
In Amity, the teaching is good, the faculties are good. But the class timing and few subjects are often causing issues. The student crowd is mixed.
In LNCT, the quality of education is great. You will be among talented peers.
In terms of placement, LNCT is better than Amity as it is an old and reputed institute. In 2020, the average CTC offered at LNCT was 3-8 LPA and the highest CTC offered was 27 LPA.

So, if you have the option, go for LNCT.

Mechanical Engineering is an evergreen branch and considering the placement rate of LNCT, which is 75-80%, it hardly provides any placements to the mechanical branch students. It means the mechanical branch students don't have the core placements.

In the year 2020, there were 3-4 companies that came to the campus for the core placements and took a very less number of students. Therefore, there are very few placement opportunities for a mechanical branch student in LNCT Bhopal.

There are either no core placements or else the Institute will ask students to apply for the marketing companies and get a placement in that domain.

But then, if a student is good with the skill set and has good abilities, prepare for the exams like GATE, ONGC. It will help him/her in the future.
