The course is one of the best, and the subjects and topics are given in the TDM syllabus uploaded on the college website.
My college internship was very good because our college gives training to the students in a very big workshop located on another campus.
They will get you a job in sales and marketing, at best, with a salary of 1.5 lacs per annum.
Dislikes
Freshers party and farewell depend on the students efforts; sometimes they host it, otherwise not. The labs are terrible, and the infrastructure is really bad.
Students from outside Delhi have taken the PG, and their monthly rate is 8000 rs per month, which includes food as well in the nearby college area.
The infrastructure of the college is good, but the condition of the lab is very poor. The management of the college is the worst. You have to suffer for a single signature of the principal in the college.

Why To Join Delhi Institute of Tool Engineering New Delhi - Reviews & Rating
I choose mechanical engineering because I have a great passion in automobiles ,electrical, civil as well and mechanical basically is a combination of all these things .
Faculty members are amazing they are best for teaching these engineering subjects
Strength of students per semester is 80-90
Exams always held timely and not difficult to pass for those who are studied their subjects very well
From the 5th semester, students are eligible for campus placement. I also being in my first placement in the 5th semester and I got the job from that company. Now the count of companies visited in ur campus is 6 and all companies offer a good job as a trainee. The highest package in our case was 4 lakhs per year and the average package is more than 2 lakhs per year. Most of the students get placement. My plan is going to do the job and after that, I will go for higher studies.
If I talk about past few year this course was only which have potential of 100% placement in both branches tool engineering and mechatronics. But now due to pandemic placement scene was not too good and impressive.
From 7th semester students become eligible for placement.
Maruti Suzuki and kotak mahindra visit here.
Highest package is 8 lpa and average is 4 lpa.
Profile offered is quality check engineer.
Normally 40% of students get placed.
I am planning for my M.Tech from IIT.
After the 6th-semester student is eligible to take a participant in campus placement. There are various companies are comes for the placement but there are quite small. One big company Maruti Suzuki come here for placement which is the most highlighting. The highest package is 8 lpa and the average is around 3-4 LPA. After getting 70% you are eligible to participate in every company. I am prepared for software companies.
Placements are generally for only 4th year students.
Some top recruiters are Maruti Suzuki ( avg 8 to 10 offers - 10 LPA ) various startups ( 5 to 6 LPA ) and also the average placement goes around 2 to 3 lakhs for core Mechanical placements.
Most of the students get placed but due to fewer salary students often prefer off campus placements.
For me right now my best bet will be to crack the top companies that will be coming if not then prefer off campus placement as growth opportunities are better out there as there are no choices in our college otherwise.
Main reason to choose the institute is the faculty and placements. Faculties are excellent and placement is 100% at the end of the course. Keeping in mind the low annual fee and best quality of education in the exclusive technical field. There are only two streams taught in the institute. So, not so rush of students in the institute and one can study peacefully.
Campus placement was the biggest attraction of the college. The college used to have a 100 percent placement record. Many good companies like Maruti, JBM, Motherson Sumi, Subros used to visit for the campus placement. But since last 2 years, the placement has declined and the big companies aren't visiting much. Also, the annual average package is less than 4 lakh. Only Maruti provides a package of 6-7 lakh, and some doesn't even give 3 lakh for a year.
Placement drives usually start from September for students who are in the 7th Semester. Currently, no company has come for recruitment in our college because of the COVID 19 pandemic. Also, our seniors who were placed lost their jobs because of the same. Speaking generally Maruti Suzuki is the biggest recruiter in our college, they hire on the basis of test and PI. Sadly most of the companies that come in our college recruit only tool engineers which is another discipline being offered by our college. Although there is very less scope for Mechatronics engineer still we can approach off-campus placements provided our educational record is good.
