An engineering life

Likes

Provides good environment healthy and competative between students and teachers.
Good teaching -they provide good teaching and solve your doubts.
They keep on organising good events and they call guests to motivate students

Dislikes

Campus infrastructure - the infrastructure is not good.
Canteen- snacks and food r expensive and not good
Washrooms are dirty no cleanness maintained

Admission:

I joined this college because I had no other option left rather than joining this college ????, I couldn't score well in kcet and jee, so my rank was 73k in kcet I thought I won't get any good colleges,after applying for councelling in 2nd round I got Tjhon college of engineering but I didn't like that college so I choose jyothy college because at last 2 seats were left and 15 days were left for sem 1. I had applied for other colleges like pes university I wrote pessat and got 11k rank but my course was not available for this rank. I badly wanted to join dayananda sagar harohalli but seats were filled I was late to enquire tried and requested many times but they didn't give seat. I got 65k rank in comdek but I didn't apply for counselling this was my big mistake I could get good colleges,they said I was getting seat in jyothy through comdek.So rather than taking drop I joined jyothy Institute of technology. To join this college u need to clear comdek or kcet of rank 60k and 30k respectively.

I did apply for sapthagiri nps university and got seat but distance and fees structure of the college was not feasible for me , I didn't get any rejection from any other college as I only applied to sapthagiri and Jyothi In 2024 Jyothi institute of technology cut off of Kcet was 60000 until the last extended round for the general category

ULTIMATE GUIDE OF JIT

The peer group is very friendly and you don't have to worry about ragging or bullying the staff is friendly and the campus is filled with lush green which is maintained pretty well the campus is pretty big and spacious and still has a lot of space
The campus is huge and is filled with lush green cover it has two canteens and houses monkes,fruits and cows the college conducts technical fests very frequently and the management is very supportive the environment is pretty social friendly
The faculty's experience is average and good they provide good mentorship and hear to the students problem

Dislikes

The campus placements are not so promising and few faculty teachers are not so experienced the teaching is average
The exterior of the campus looks amazing but the interior is just white coated and looks very dull and soul less
Internship chances are pretty low the fests could have been hosted at a bigger scale

Admission:

Personally I could get into a better college with great placement but my admission took place through comedk and every college has their own comedk fees structure so I had to opt for this college I know few seniors who study here and I honestly don't regret my decision to join this college the only drawback is it is too far and it takes me a lot of time to travel to the college U can join this college through entrance exams like cet and comedk or the management quota u have to appear for cet compulsory though

They help us to get placement they are very friendly

They don't have proper ground to play and low network quality 🥲
Some of faculties are not that much good but there are some of them who teach very well

I chose this college because it will be easy for transport I have applied for Dayananda Sagar College Kanakapura road but I didn't get seat there because of my KCET rank that was main resason I didn't join to that college Admission process: firstly u have to write KCET exam then based on your rank you have to participate in college allotment proces in that u have to priotize the college which college do you need after some days you will get notice is that did you got college allotment or not after getting alloted you have to visit with all the documents to get and admission

The 2 block for engineering, convenient, easy and enough for the number of students there's canteen and stationary with very reasonable price to all students and even the new canteen offers quite a decent taste and is cost effective considering the s
Cleanliness in the campus is maintained very neatly with wide variety of labs, research facilities and many small companies within the college by ex students and research faculty,with regular conductions of hackathons, marathons and many more
they conducted training to improve student's communication, aptitude, and technical strength so they are industry ready this year placement training begin even for 3rd sem students

Dislikes

The washrooms for male students is poorly maintained, cleaned regularly but the washrooms seem very old and throughout the years maintenance and replacement is not done there's water seeping from above and door latches are broken or not installed
Real school like treatment for most of the grievances you're fined for losing id, hall ticket, records and for attendance great importance is given and notes are to be maintained for all subjects and some are accounted for giving marks too and
there's discipline committee who checks on all of this and the students are answerable to them and the office is always busy to get done one task any verification, certification or some office related errand they make us wait or it will take 2-3 days

Admission:

I did visit the college for enquiry of admission and seeing the campus, as I got really bad rank in kcet and was suggested the college by a friend, the comedk results were yet to come and was confused to reserve and book the seat or not and when waited out for comedk results and checked with the last year cutoff it all aligned well and was glad to have got the seat through all the 3 seats of comedk counseling, there's no criteria such as interviews, tests, or sort of specialized examination conducted by JIT to get a seat, it is so let based on either comedk and kcet ranking and their respective counseling even jee and advance rank is futile they aren't heeded much attention or are completely irrelevant or as usual the student can enrol through payment or management seat these are the only known ways or methods to enroll into JIT What went wrong is i got really bad grades in 12 as well as very bad rank in kcet i can't solely blame bad rank to me opting for CBSE which students face many difficulties during boards as i did and felt very underconfident and bad after giving boards as the paper they set is all time tough and very time consuming to write while I did pass but not eith the best of marks i could have received

People are friendly. Teachers are caring and understanding.
Sports is always taken into consideration.
Things thought in class is always understood well and if any doubts teachers clarify it .

Canteen is a bit dirty and looks unhygienic some times

Admission:

Personally, why I choose Jyothi was because I got a seat in Jyothi and my fees was much lower than a management seat, and then kcet it counselling could take a long time, so I just opted for Jyothy . Also, the admission process was very smooth, and most of them were assisted by the staff

Likes

The campus environment. The lush green surroundings.
The faculties are really supportive and have great hold of the knowledge of their particular stream.

I like the faculties they are very supportive and make sure each student gets equal opportunities to take part in everything that the college is doing they make sure no student feels left back and help in both academics and co curriculars i
There are many clubs kn the college where in students can showcase there talent
There will be placement and training sessions every semester for a months where training starts from the very start and students become more confident

Dislikes

Too many assignments to write but again the VTU demand

Admission:

I had my sister studying in this college where she got a placement of 26lakhs per annum moreover her skills shere alll developed from the college itself and she didnt have to do any other separate qualifications and certifications for getting a job the college ensures almost all the students gets placed
