Likes

Cells and Communities - There are various distinct societies including Crunk - Dancing Society, Nivesh - Finance and Investment Society, Enactus and many more. All societies are very active and productive.
Faculty - Teaching and Non teaching staff all are very cooperative and helpful.

Dislikes

Infrastructure - It has a small campus with no playground.
Funds - It gets very difficult for the societies to approve fund for college fests.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fees kept increasing every year at my time of college. The year-wise fees I paid was around 20000. Different courses have different fee structure. The examination fess is charged per semester which was around 800. It keeps on changing. Lab fees, tuition fees is already inclded in the per semester fees. Practical exam fees gets charged at time of filling of examination form. Scholarship and other financial aid facility is also available for some selected students. Every University of Delhi college has its own process of scholarship, for which it is important to connect with the admin office of the college.

The college computer labs are equipped with mordern computers and spacious seating arrangement
The societies during my year have been quite active, but this may vary year to year with new post holders. The teachers are almost alawys on board to support student for setting up cultural activities on college campus.

Dislikes

Small campus area. Small ground but DDA park near by helps
The building needs repair by the time we reached second yr

Fee structure for Sri Aurobindo college First yr: 18,000 approx Second yr: 19,600 3rd sem 9,600 4th sem 10,000 Third yr: 21,000 approx 5th sem 10,616 6th sem 11,000 Fee is affordable in comparison to other DU colleges. Exam fees is paid during exam period not included in the actul fee.

A great college for the exposure you need in life

Likes

Fees structure was very affordable and the curriculum was good
Faculty was very helpful and knowledgeable

Dislikes

No playground in the campus,had to go to other colleges to play and practice
Guards at the entrance were too strict and always pestered the students

Fees and Financial Aid:

Fee for b.a hons fees was 5000 per semester. For SC and ST students fees were less they were also provided with scholarship of rupees 20000 per semester. For other courses such as bcom and bcom hons the fees was rs6000 and 8000 respectively and scholarships for other categories students

Sri Aurobindo College - A place of Habituation

Likes

The things I liked the most that the college is in Southern part of Delhi so there's lot more crowd than expected.
The faculty is good and the classes are being held regularly and some the professors are too cautious about the students welfare.

Dislikes

The college is beside the main road so there's always noise from outside vehicles in the classroom distrubing us.
The campus is too small and there are no playing fields or a proper sitting or relaxing place.

Fees and Financial Aid:

I paid around 11000 for my course and fees varies according to the course also. Some courses may have high fees than the others but some will have low fees depending upon the course. Maybe the Sc and St have low fees but as it is government college and purely based under the Delhi University the fees is low only compared to other private institutions. If anyone is financially unstable Delhi University runs a program for economic help and after submitting some documents children can benefit from it who can't afford the college. There's no other charges other than the admission fees and course charge. You just have to pay one time for a year and that's it. No additional charges for any type of joining in society and any fest. The fee is increasing every year and there are demands going on to reduce it so maybe in the coming years it will be reduced hopefully.

Aurbindo:is it worth it ?

Likes

Nice boys to girls ratio , the gender is never a problem in this college it’s evenly divided even the teachers are femaleS so no one should face any issues regarding that
Nice staff very understanding and helps students and also teaches very nicely

Dislikes

The campus is very small and there isn’t much of a playing area /ground in the college the only sport that can be played is vollyball
The admistatipn department is small and slow

Fees and Financial Aid:

Year wise fee depends upon the courses as well as the colleges in du , in Aurbindo BCom can be 12000-13000 with no reservation or deductions and the exam fee can go up to 3-4K which we have to pay semester wise , so 2 times in a year

Life of a student in du

Likes

College infrastructure is really nice. The classes are held regularly and the smart classes are good. Teachers are supporting and push you hard to achieve you goals that you aspire. Also students are really nice and welcoming

Fees and Financial Aid:

I paid around 70000 rupees in 1st year now I'm in my 3rd year and the fees is around 13000. Scholarship are available for needy student. I got around 5000 rupees of scholarship from my college. I applied for students aid fund

Likes

College environment is good and enjoying.
Seniors are very supportive for every student’s issue.

Dislikes

Lack of infrastructure facilities like size of campus is to short and library in not so much big.
Lack of sports facilities in college and no ground and any court

First Year tution fee for this course is ?9600 and in second year fee increased and is ?10616 .I am in second year and not yet got into third year.All my bathch mates have paid the same fee and the fee is less for SC/ST CATEGORY.

Student environment is very good . All the time you can see students roaming around the campus and at canteen too.
The location of college is perfect .It is surrounded by so much hangout places for students like restaurants,cafe,shopping complexes etc.

Dislikes

Teachers are not that much serious for studies.
There should be facilities like student metro card .

I am not in knowledge for scholarships in this college.Fees is really affordable.for bachelor of commerce in first year I paid ?9600 and now in second year the fees is ?10616 , third year is not yet has come . The fees is same for reserved seats like for SC/ST/OBC .

i liked my staff the department teachers
like the activites which department do for students

the campus is small in size dint have huge area
grounds facility in not proper college fest are not up to mark

fees was around 6400rs per semester total 1 year fees was 12k around exam fee will be other than yearly fee . onlu sc st gets relaxsation in fee. all the students pay equal fee except sc and st and the fee will be paid online itself

Just a ordinary person lived extraordinary life.

Likes

The best thing about this college is the ground for playing cricket and we use to play everyday and there is a special class for sleeping and for singing
Behaviour of all teachers are good that they are really giving there best in the studies

Dislikes

No coolers in winters that's is the huge problems and fans are just moving on 1 or 2 speed
Water coolers don't work for most of the time.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The tution fees are same from many years. And they use to provide scholarship to the students who want to study even they guide personaly to the students for there better career. They gives the scholarship of Max 50000
