The faculty to student ratio in this college 65:35. The faculty members of my college are excellent .They support students in every situation and help in education.They will help to sit for the placement rounds going in the college.

Good and kind faculties also helpful in nature

25-30 students per faculty. Relationship between them are quite good and friendly in nature Vikash sir, Sohini ma'am, Rita ma'am and ashok sir are so good in the field and also helped us a lot There are total six exams. Exams will be semester wise

The teachers are very cooperative. They teach us very well and also during the practical works they help us without being rude.

The professors in IHM Kolkata are very friendly and cooperative. There are more than 1000 students including 1st yr , 2nd yr and 3rd yr. There are many teachers on one department . Every faculty member is the best. No one misbehaves and they want the best for us. The college organises mid term exams before end sem exams. All the notes are provided in the website after the student profile is made . The exams are easy according to the preparation. No one fails usually. It goes according to the CGPA and is under JNU.

IHM Kolkata an experience

IHM Kolkata is one of the top colleges to pursue Hotel Management. The Campus is equipped with modern kitchens, well furnished labs, fully operational training labs. The Faculties are highly knowledgeable and industry trained.

I loved my college and the experience that it gave me, every faculty who helped to make me industry ready and the very supportive seniors who where their to guide me every step of the way.

We were a large batch of 300 students and were divided in 4 sections. For Bsc programme we have 04 major subject and 03 addtional subjects. For each subject we had 03 Faculties. All the faculties were helpfull and very approcahble. My absolute fav faculty was Ms. Suchi Gothi (Front Office), Ms. Pooja Biswas (Housekeeping), Ms. Rita Mitra ( Housekeeping), Mr. Shane Joseph ( Food Service), Ms. Linzi Sarkar (Food Service), Mr. Subhadip Saha (Bakery), Mr. Bonophool Banerjee (Kitchen). Every faculty at IHM Kolkata was lovely and helped whenever it was required. We had exams every end of the semester which was very relevant and easy ( If you studied well). As far as i remember there was a drop of aproxx 50 students at the end of 1st year, few failed and few left because they didnot liked it. The course curriculam is very relevant and up to date in accord with the Industry.

My College.

Faculty is top notch, they take extra care of any student is lagging behind or need extra help.

The exam system is very good, there are mid term and then final sem exam. The faculty teach us in proper manner and also gives suggestions and those suggestions are the most important study material. The exam practice makes the students more ready for the final semester examination.

Hotel heaven

Faculty here is serious ,devoted and knowledgeable. They try to teach from within each and every student . Obvious there's variations but overall academics is taken seriously here . Almost all students gets placed in good hotels and retails .
The faculty is serious about academics ,they teach with full potential and extract the best out of students , not sugar coating. The campus is strictly under discipline. There is academic pressure and opportunities to become better in all departments

Faculty to students ratio is apt . There are 50 students per class and 5 groups . So reach is much more . The teaching is personalised and appropriate. Teachers are devoted and extremely serious about academics and practicals which is highly important in this field. Miss Rita Mitra (HOD) Mr shubhadip Saha Mrs Sohini Basu These teachers are the gems of college . Extremely helpful ,kind and guides you like their own child . There are 2 exams per semester . One mid term and one end sem . Exams are easy if you prepare good enough . The course itself is not at all tough but there are some hurdles along the road but nothing unachievable.

• the number of students is large like 50 - 60 students per class. But no one ever feels left out cause the faculty members always includes the introvert students too to make them more open. • they teach in presentation and also includes activities to make the class more interesting. We get to learn about alot of stuff apart from the main subject like front office, housekeeping, food production and food and beverage we also get to learn how to use computer applications like DOs , ppt, word etc. we have tourism , customer management, nutrition etc. • the teachers are really friendly and approachable. You can talk to them whenever they are free. They will always listen to you problems and will definitely help you out if you need.

Faculty is excellent as all the teachers have huge experience. They are very friendly and knowledgeable at the same time. The average age of Faculty is approximately 45 years. One of the best colleges

There are around 10-11 lectures in my course as rotation of lecturers is done. so common teacher can come again. Each faculty is qualified well enough according to there time of graduation. And moreover each one of them has a more than 10 yrs of experience in teaching. Each of them have worked in industry before joining the College.
