- IHM Kolkata is one of the top colleges to pursue Hotel Management. The Campus is equipped with modern kitchens, well furnished labs, fully operational training labs. The Faculties are highly knowledgeable and industry trained.
- Campus life at IHM Kolkata was very vibrant and dynamic. The college provides various social interaction opportunities. We used to have sports day, freshers party and farewell parties, an important IHM tradition is Gourmet Night.
Dislikes
- I loved my college and the experience that it gave me, every faculty who helped to make me industry ready and the very supportive seniors who where their to guide me every step of the way.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Yearly Fees: INR 100000/- Approx Enrollment Fee: INR 1800/- Admission Fee: INR 1500/- Tution Fee: INR 39,700/- IGNOU Fee: INR 12700/- Examination fee: INR 2500, Caution Money: INR 4000/- Tution Fee is to be paid every semester, IGNOU fee once a year, Examination fee every semester, Caution money is one time deposit which is refundable at the end of course. Enrollment fee and Admission fee is one time payment only.

- The infrastructure and development is amazing.
- Faculty is top notch, they take extra care of any student is lagging behind or need extra help.
Dislikes
- The interview process for a job, if you are in the favourite student group you are good to go, if not you are not.
- The kitchen can be a little bit clean. The helpers can be better in communication.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The College fees comes along with the hostel fees. So it will cost something around 420000 for the entire 3 years course. The hostel fees are also included in this amount. The College atmosphere is good the faculty is very knowledgeable and they know their subjects to the core.

- The faculty is serious about academics ,they teach with full potential and extract the best out of students , not sugar coating. The campus is strictly under discipline. There is academic pressure and opportunities to become better in all departments
- The crowd is something I have remained dissatisfied with . But there are few gems be it senior or your own batchmates ,you'll find your people . Rather than that that campus life is top notch with gourmet events and culturals and various clubs and ac

- The crowd is not very accepting or indulgent . But there are people who you can learn from . Find them
- Placement is taken very seriously here . More than 50 companies line up for recruitment. Even though the package is not high as per the course fees but in this sector they provide the best .
Fees and Financial Aid:
Total feel for 1st sem is 96515 which is inclusive of tuition fee, registration fee etc . After this we need to pay 78000 per sem . So the total fees is accumulated to be 486515 rs only. There are various scholarships available as per category in the website of the college . This is a government institution under the Ministry of tourism , government of India .

- I like all the faculty of the college because they are very experienced.
- I like the infrastructure of the college.
Dislikes
- I didn't like the campus because it is very small comparing to others
- I disliked the college building which is very old

The fees of the college is also very much affordable as compare to other college.It is about 4-5 lac total fees. And the scholarship is also available such as Bihar Government scholarship program. Campus placement gives you the average package of 3-4 lac depending on your skill

- Lots of facility of showcasing your extracurricular activites in many social activities.
- Lots of good books for boosting your knowledge and a internship programme to gain experience in industry.
Dislikes
- The food served during lunch in cafeteria.
- There is no advantage for scoring good marksin terms exams in campus placement other than teaching.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fee structure is comparatively lesser than the other private colleges providing hotel management courses and you will see an increase in fee from the advancement of the semester. There are 6 semesters overall in three years and you have to pay fees separately for each semester during 5 semesters you will have wonderful jobs in the hotel or retail sectors with a good salary package and you will also avail of scholarships if you are eligible for the terms and conditions of the scholarships.

- I liked the strictness of the college, it helps to build the students to great aspect.
- I liked the campus which was simple yet modern, with smart boards and motion sensing projectors that helped studying more efficient.
Dislikes
- Rules are too strict, even you are not allowed to give exam how important it is if you are 2 mins late to college after the gate closes.
- Too much of co- curricular activities, there was like 2-3 events every month and students were chosen for that.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The Total Fee for the Course - BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration is ? 4 Lakhs for the tenure of 3 years, which includes both NCHMCT of the affiliating board and IGNOU. If your score is above 90% on your boards you could apply for a scholarship. The college hikes the fees every 4-5 years due to inflation. College helps students to get their internship in 2nd year as it has various sources with top hotels! I was placed in ITC Royal Bengal and got a stipend of? 1500, yes Due to COVID the stipend was this low, but job packages were like average of 2.5 LPA, I did not take one as I decided to do higher studies.

- All the extra curriculum activities that are done in the college.
- Every festival is celebrated in our college.
Dislikes
- The Timing of the institute is very huge.
- The timings of each period is very large.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fee is 300000 every year. I got no scholarships. After the fifth semester, campus interview begins. Many companies of hotels and as well as retail come to take the interview. After the interview, they send us an offer letter to join the company after completing the course.

- The college food is so poor and the college should really work on that

So the total fees will be approx 4 lakhs and if you will opt for a hostel that it will cost you approx 56000 per year. I don't have much knowledge about scholarships but yes it will cost you way less than other private hotel management colleges.

If I say it is a government college but the fees are like private colleges total 400000 of for three years bachelor's degree course. That is too expensive for middle-class families like mine. I took a loan from the Bihar government for this degree. Nsp scholarship you may get if the college will approve. About the internship, the average stipend we got was rupees 2000 for a month The average Salary package is about 300000 which is not satisfactory at all.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Campus jobs can be taken in a five-star hotel or retail sector. One can get a position as a Management Trainee or Operational Trainee also. The study is costly. Hostel fees will be approx 30000 for 6 months and college fees will be approx 3 lakhs to 4 lakhs from a 3-year B.Sc course
