GLC Mumbai Faculty

The faculty at Government Law College (GLC) is highly praised for its knowledgeable and distinguished professors, including notable figures such as Mr. Pithawala and Mr. Daswani. The college employs a mix of permanent and visiting faculty, with many visiting professors being prominent lawyers from the Bombay High Court and eminent scholars. Despite having limited permanent faculty, the visiting faculty ensures a rich learning experience. Lectures are conducted punctually, and faculty members are approachable and supportive, often providing additional guidance for exams and practical knowledge through competitions.

The faculty to student ratio is 1:60. However, the reliance on visiting faculty sometimes leads to irregular lectures. The college conducts exams twice a year, and the overall teaching quality is good, though some course revisions could enhance student engagement. Despite improvements, GLC's faculty is not yet on par with National Law Universities (NLUs).
