About VIT Pune B.Tech
Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune offers a four-year, full-time B.Tech in 12 branches with 3,720 seats in all. VIT Pune B.Tech Eligibility
You need 45% in Class 12 with Physics and Maths and one more science subject, or 40% if you are from a reserved category in Maharashtra. You also need an MHT CET score, or a JEE Main score for the All India seats. Every branch uses the same rule.

VIT Pune B.Tech Scholarships
The SC and ST scholarship pays the full tuition and development fee if your family earns up to INR 2.5 Lakhs. The EBC scholarship pays half the tuition fee up to INR 8 Lakhs of income. The Maharashtra government pays these through MahaDBT, and you apply online each year. Girls from OBC, EBC, EWS and SEBC families pay no tuition fee.

Same rule, every branch: All 12 branches use the same marks rule and the same exam; only the closing merit number differs.
Institute-level seats: Up to a fifth of the seats in a branch are filled by VIT from its own merit list, at a higher fee in most branches.
Home state: Maharashtra seats need Maharashtra candidature; students from other states apply for the All India seats.

Fill branch choices: List VIT's branches in the order you want them. Choice filling is a branch order, best first.
Accept the seat: After each of the four CAP rounds, freeze the seat or keep it and wait for a higher branch.
Report and pay: Report to VIT and pay the first-year fee. Pick a branch you want for all four years.
