Likes

Best teachers and friendly environment. teaching method is good and very understanding. conducts various activities for improving our skills
Vidya college provide many scholarships for the toppers and talented, skilled students.
Promotes extracurricular activities. not only focused on academic sessions but also encourage entertainment for students

Dislikes

Not giving importance to sports and games . There is no proper basketball ground.
In the case of tution fees very rudely behaviour from manager.
There are lot of assignments , tutorials , reports and records that are to be finished and supposed to be submitted on the same day sometimes which leads to stress for us and they might deduct marks for late submission.

Honest review

Likes

The labs are quite neat and have all the essential matters.
The classes are quite supportive and can have a social circle of your own people.
The cafeteria provides a variety of food.

Dislikes

There is a scarcity of medical area and needs extra beds for the number of people.
Not able to study for the exams as the timeline is short
The store doesn’t provide some essentials.

Placement Experience:

From the semester 7 onwards the placement interview will begin.The company's like Infosys,Sutherland etc.But if we are doing externally that is also good.I'm planning on improving my skills first and then going abroad. The average package available would be 4 lakh per annum.

Likes

The arts,classes,dispensary for treating health issues,the ground to have a run,the canteen and cafeteria to provide food when needed,library to gain knowledge,and classrooms to take classes, the auditorium to see the fest as well as where showcase s

Dislikes

The classrooms quite hot during summer even though fans are equipped so some more fans or other things should be done.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The core reason why I choose this course is because I'm quiet interested in software engineering field as I could showcase my skills. The Improvement that needs to be done is to teach the bio students who took in high school to give them sometime to process into this field even they are interested.

Campus life

Likes

The campus of the college was very good and liked the overall facilities.
The teachers were very helpful and teaches well.
Many teachers had phd in their education.

Dislikes

The college could add a physical education.

Placement Experience:

There is placement in my college well known it companies and core companies come to the college every year.If we didnt get placement through college then there is off campus interview happening outside colleges so we would go there.

VAST THRISSUR

Likes

Good college campus and surroundings and nature friendly
Library facilities and erp website facilities
Clean and maintained atmosphere.Good teachers with much experiences

Dislikes

Assignments during exam period may get distracted
Saturday classes with full day time table
There is no leave whether there is strike related to party

Placement Experience:

The college is good at providing placement offers.and when we didnt get placement they also suggest us good companies with good packages.And also they suggest mtech entrance programs by better institution

Likes

Best teachers and friendly environment. Teaching method is good and very understanding. Conducts various activities for improving our skills
Various events are conducted like - tech fest, arts day, sports day, freshers day etc. for improving and showing our talents and skills.
Healthy and competitive type of interest branch .events are organised. And anti ragging college

Dislikes

Busy schedules. Deadlines are very short in completion of projects and activities
Tight schedules of exams and need to manage studys and events simultaneously

Placement Experience:

Placement are usually from IT companies. Where I got placed in our HOD Company. Which was a new experience for me . As a fresher don't expect high salary. Since it's not possible .after attaining experience one can move forward towards there career

Elegant and wonderful

Likes

Discipline is in at most peak. Having certain strict rules will avoid having chaos around the college.
The infrastructure is good and comparitively etter compared to other colleges.
The teaching staff is prominently teaching everything in a understandable way.

Dislikes

Writing letter for every minute things which have occurred in the college.
Not giving importance to sports and games . There is no proper basketball ground.
series exam date schedules dont have adequate time off .

Placement Experience:

For Computer science department the placement opportunities are high. Around 300 companies arrive for the placement at the last semester days. around 20% of the students recieve placements . If I dont get a good placement I will prepare for the PSC examination.

Likes

There were lots of events at our college like arts, tech which is famous at whole kerala
Spacious campus with lots of games , huge boys and ladies hostels , 2 canteens , huge parking facilities

Dislikes

The college faculties were bit strict as they disallowed us to do parties inside our college
Uniform was compulsory except for friday

Placement Experience:

When students reach their 6th semester campus placements took place. Eligibility criteria is to appear without backlogs . 2-3 companies visited including federal bank , unacademy and made a offer of 3LPA.The average package provided is 3LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 10%.My plans after getting degree was to move abroad and to get placed at MNC .

A glimpse through Vidya

Likes

A good infrastructure that gives a good and pleased environment to study.
Experienced and friendly faculties who are ready to give their maximum efforts for the well being of the student.
Provides good support to co curricular activities like sports, arts, tech fest etc...

Dislikes

One of the things i felt bad is that the college bus fees is a bit high.
Another thing i disliked about the college is that the air conditioning facility in the college auditorium won't be used for all the events.

Placement Experience:

The college provides placement opportunities for all the students. The college also has a supportive placement cell who provides information on all the upcoming placement drives. The students can sit for placement drives from the third year onwards.

Thankful to my college

Likes

My college is very avtive academics .They were lots of internship opportunities and placements.
In the level of arts and culturals are also important with thé academics .The college same importance for this.
In the level of sports really encouraging and supporting for thé physical fitness and getting so many record in competitions.

Dislikes

Sometime college have veru strict in academics.
Some rules and regulations are not good.
In the case of tution fees very rudely behaviour from manager.

Placement Experience:

They were more placements offers in my college but all companies are non technical so don't have any future in that company i think college take kore responsibility for taking good company for placements

My Experience about College

Likes

The professors were passionate about their subjects and were readily available for guidance and support.
The college campus & surroundings & infrastructure are great

Dislikes

High tuition fees & additional expenses can create financial strain to student & their family
Larger class sizes may result in less personalized attention from the professor and less opportunity for a meaningful class participation

Placement Experience:

placements are good in this college in my opinion Every seniors with the ability to take a task and complete in time can get placements And also with high marks If you can speak well in a placement scenario you can achieve a good one
