UIIT Shimla Placement 2026: Highest Package, Average Package, Top Recruiters

The placement scenario at the college is positive, with more than 80% of students getting placed in campus placements over the past four years. Prominent recruiting companies include Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and HP, among others. Students have been offered an average salary package of around 3.5-4 lakh per annum, with the highest package reported at 10 lakh per annum by Paytm.

Placements commence in the 7th semester, and students are eligible for placement drives from that point. While internships are not directly provided by the college, students are encouraged to seek internships independently. The college supports students with necessary permissions for internships. The placement cell at the institute facilitates placements, although students often participate in off-campus opportunities as well.
