Does the curriculum include project work?

Project work is a crucial part of the PSG College of Technology curriculum. How early do placement drives begin?

Placement campaigns in SSGMCE usually start in the last year of the engineering course, usually from the third semester of the final year. The Training and Placement Cell is actively involved in inviting companies and fixing the recruitment activities quite in advance, which provides students sufficient time to prepare and attend. Some organisations might even have initial rounds or interview-based recruitments in the second-to-last year to look for suitable candidates early on. Overall, the placement schedule is designed such that students have multiple chances during their last year of study to find a job before graduation.

SSGMCE students are permitted and even encouraged to avail off-campus placements alongside the on-campus placement drives. Although the placement cell of the college mostly deals with arranging and conducting campus recruitment interviews with different companies, students are free to look for job opportunities outside the campus also. These sessions are held with a view to developing confidence and enhancing the overall employability of the students so that they are in a good position to confront the recruitment process. The odd semester fees are around 55-60k and the even semester fees are around 75-80k. Considering other colleges this is a bit expensive but since psg assures you 100% placement it is okay that they charge us more.

There are lot of scholarship provided which is Government scholarship: army, navy, merit , drivers student , etccc much more . Non-government: magalir suya uudhavi , airforce, alumi etc.. vallara scholarship etc... which help students

Fees and Financial Aid:

Tution fees for 1 sem will be around 60-70k where as second sem will be around 40k as the next semester comes there will be a decrease in amount for tution and exam fee is 250 for all subject ( excluding arrear ) and 2k amount for placement class And 100k to more for hostel

The State Government offers scholarship for top rank holders in Government schools. All bank loans will also be eligible. The college also has a Trust that supports needy students. Also there are cases where the Alumni also sometimes pool in and contribute if the student is going through a bad situation.

Yes, you can pursue data science after the arts stream in the 12th class. You don’t require a science stream or technology to pursue the data science course. The college offers integrated courses in the subject.
