The number of opportunities we got through an internship as I got a chance to teach in a rural school was a eye opening for it. The internship experience was very good as I got numerous chances as I was a leader in my group who handles all the responsibilities.

Students are mostly placed after 3rd semester that is placements start in full swing from the month of November which is early as compared to other colleges hence more opportunities are grabbed. Many schools visit each year for placement opportunities placing 98-99% of students.

Schools like Poddar International, Santacruz; Avalon School in Navi Mumbai; Karnataka School, Chembur, etc. give the best packages to the Somaiya College students. As the students are well-equipped with all the resources and teaching capabilities, Schools offer the best packages till INR 80,000 per month salaries with a minimum starting from INR 25000 per month which varies according to the board of the school and the position the student is applying for.

I have not yet applied for campus interview so i have no idea about company name, profile and stipend amount that intership wil provide.

No, I don't think our college provides internships. No that I know of. So I wouldn't know the general stipend and overall experience.

There has been no internship yet. We'll have practice training sessions in the second semester. I do not think there would be any stipend offered as such. All expenses have to be borne by the students themselves.
