In school from the starting onwards I had a liking for English language and literature which I decided to pursue as my career. The faculty is great and very much friendly. They are highly qualified. In total we have 5 professors in our English department. And total number or average number of students in different semester is around 25 to 30. The classes are held according to the routine with a strict emphasis on the attendance. We have our exams within every 6months according to the CBCS system of Calcutta university. The exam level is not to easy or not that difficult but yes it's up to the students capabilities on how much he or she can score.

From childhood onwards, I was in love with literature and books. So I chose this course to future study the literature and build a career on this. The number of students are quite small which is around 30 to 40. The faculty is good and the teachers are almost like a friend to us. They are very helpful and the way they teach is also good. Each and every text is taught by them with a good background study. The professors are highly qualified and almost all the professors are Ph.D. holders. The semester exams are quite tough but not that difficult that we cannot score above 90. Students can score well if follow regular classes and notes given by the professors with continuous reading of the books.

Since the beginning when I was in school I had an interest in business and how the market works so I chose commerce as my stream in school and in college BCom with account honors. In my class, there are 40 students. Some teachers teach really pathetic they don't care if the students are understanding the concept or not but most teachers are pretty humble and hard working.

They always had an urge for writing and reading so it was obvious for me to choose this course. The course syllabus is not easy and not too tough either it's all about how you plan and study. The student ratio in the class is pretty small in comparision with other departments. The faculty is very nice. They are helpful and very much friendly with us. Talking about the qualifications most of them are a PhD holder. The teaching method is also quite decent. The exams in our college is conducted on semester basis, held after 6months.

I choose this course due to my habit of too much reading and learning the fantasy world and enjoying it. Literature is all about portraying, learning, reading, writing, imaging and so on which pushed me to go for this course. The faculty members are very good. Each one of them are very much supportive, helpful and encouraging. The way they teach is also very noteworthy. From background discussion to main topic , everything is discussed and explained. Almost all the professors of our department are PHD holders and they also have some extra skills and knowledge like singing and dancing. The exams are conducted semester wise, almost after every 6months. It not easy or that hard to pass the exam. It's just that you have to work hard to score well.
