MM Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (MMICT & BM) is an integral wing of the prestigious Maharishi Markandeshwar University (MMU) based in Haryana.

MMICT & BM offers a plethora of courses in fields of Hotel Management & Catering Technology. It currently offers Diploma in five disciplines, BHMCT and B.Sc in three specializations at UG level. At the PG level, MM Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (MMICT & BM) also offers M.Sc. in Dietetics & Nutrition.

Minimum eligibility for B.Sc and BHMCT courses is a pass in 10+2 examination with 45% (40% for reserved categories) marks in aggregate.
M.Sc program requires a Bachelor’s degree with 45% marks or degree in Hotel Management.
Direct admission is offered to the candidates under Management and NRI categories.
Final admission is granted on the basis of counselling conducted by Maharishi Markandeshwar University.

MM Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology B.Sc & BHMCT Admission 2024

MMICT & BM offers undergraduate level Diploma and B.Sc program in various specializations. The basic eligibility criteria for B.Sc and BHMCT is a pass in 10+2 with minimum 45% marks. Candidates must also have English as a compulsory subject at 10+2 level. Diploma candidates are only required to pass the 10+2 level qualifying exam. Selections are done on the basis of 10+2 marks and institute level counselling.

Key Points:

Only Medical/ Non-Medical/ Allied Science candidates are allowed to join the B.Sc. Food Science & Technology program.
Candidates seeking admission to any of the Diploma or Degree programs can apply by filling the online application form. The institute also allows offline submission of the application form by post or in person.

MM Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology M.Sc Admission 2024

MMICT & BM offers M.Sc. program in Dietetics & Nutrition under its PG wing. The basic eligibility criterion is a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 45% marks. Preference is given to those candidates who have completed a Bachelor’s in Hotel Management.

Additionally, the candidates are required to have studied English as a compulsory subject at 10+2 level. Selection is done on the basis of marks obtained in the last qualifying exam followed by counselling.

MMICT & BM Application Process 2024

Candidates applying for any of the programs offered by MMICT & BM can do so through online or offline modes. The step by step application process is given below:

Online Mode:

Visit the official website and fill the application form.
The first step of application is online registration after which the candidates are redirected to the application page.
Fill all the requisite details and upload the relevant documents & Photocopies of all educational certificates.
The candidates will then need to submit the duly filled form for the next step of application that is payment of application fee.
Online payment of fees can be done using a Credit/Debit Card or Net-Banking.
After successful payment of fees, a unique application number is generated which can be used by the candidates for future references.

Offline Mode:

Candidates can collect the Application Form from the institute’s Administrative Office.
The candidates can also request a copy of the application form by post or download the same from the institute’s website. Application fee, in these cases, can be paid through Demand Draft.
The prescribed application fee for the current academic year is INR 900 which can be paid in cash while collecting the application form.
Fill the application form and submit it along with self-attested photocopies of all the relevant enclosures to the institute.

No seats are reserved for backward categories and/or others. However, the candidates applying under Management Quota or NRI may be offered seat reservation under certain circumstances.

Scholarship Details: The following scholarships are awarded to eligible and meritorious students pursuing the courses offered by MMU:

Full Fee/partial fee concession to deserving students on merit-cum-means basis.
Fee Concession at the time of admission is provided to the following category of students in selected courses:
60% of Tuition fees concession to those passing with 90% and above marks in the qualifying examination.
40% of Tuition fees concession to those passing with 80% to 89.99% marks in the qualifying examination.
30% of Tuition fees concession to those passing with 70% to 79.99% marks in the qualifying examination.
Scholarships/Financial Aid is available to such students whose parents' income is less than one lac.

Admission:

Basically, its course is related to the Hotels industry. There is a three-star hotel under the university. I feel very happy to come here. Other departments building infrastructure are also awesome. I found details about this university from my senior friend who already study here BBA 2nd Year.
