Our faculty was pretty much updated with the latest curriculum and the updates in their respective field of expertise. We learned a lot from them, both personally and professionally. Especially the finance and asset management faculty were pure gems. Mode of teaching mostly included case study analysis and ppt presentations and assignments.
All of our faculty members were adequately qualified and supportive. They all had a plethora of corporate experience under their belt. Especially the Marketing faculty panel was very much talented and they prepared us to extract useful data from a large set of data. Faculty to student ratio was only around 1:10, which enabled the professors to allocate adequate time to each student.
Few Faculties are very Resourceful and they cover most of the subjects so that's the plus point.
If you are lucky enough you will get good teaching Fellowship students who will be doing Ph.D. under the Assistant Lecturers.
Then there are few lecturers who you can't take seriously too.. learn accordingly.
Faculties were wisely chooses for this MBA course as they always used believe in practical rather than the transferring theoretical knowledge. From market survey to IPO allocation we used to do it in live environment.
