Remarks

I think I do not have any bad remark about the college but the end of the second year we found some unhealthy development in management.

Entrance Preview

CET VTU, vey good college in my location i had good ranking within 500 and the KIMS was the one college which used to get all the seats over before 600 to 700 ranks. Luckily I got this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Very good knowledge transfer from the gurus with vast knowledge and experience all lecturers were from good college and nicely managed by deans. Used maintain high discipline in classes.

Internships Opportunities

I had 2 internship in my 2 years of course Without any stipend. Infact it was a project which made us to know the market for financial instrument and for the employer to know the response for his products.

Placement Experience

Placement was not such good as we were badly hit by subprime crisis at that time all the companies sacking there employees due to high loss and cost cutting.

College Events

We had very good 2 events hosted by our college one is darpan which is alumni meet another one is national level management fest as a host team we used to have unbiased competition in the fest for 2 days.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very less fee structure as the seat allotted were merit seats not management seats we had yearly somewhere 35 k including food and study materials compared to other colleges at that time I feel it was very less for the master degree like MBA.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I did not get any scholarship but loan facility was as the course was and it was hot cake at that time so used get the call from many banks for opting loan.

Campus Life

We had many and good extracurricular activities used have quiz general and business. Sports like badminton, tennis, football and cricket. We used to have university level sports.

Hostel Facilities

I didn't opt for hostel, so I do not have much experience in this regard. But food which was available in college was good for the price we paid and facility was awesome.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Very strong alumni network we useful have annual alumni meet darpan where there was some entertaining activities, and job related discussion used have.

Exam Structure

We had normal examination structure without any time for the preparation as we used to believe in practical understanding.

Faculty

Faculties were wisely chooses for this MBA course as they always used believe in practical rather than the transferring theoretical knowledge. From market survey to IPO allocation we used to do it in live environment.

ISME PGDM REVIEW

Likes

Facility is very qualified. Faculties from IIM are also there. They are very friendly. They gives us extra support and mentorship after class also
College infrastructure is also good. Full of greenery amd calm environment and location is aldo good.
Placement is also good. And ROI is also good as per the fees.

Dislikes

The schedule is very hectic. And hostel timing is also short for returning.

Placement Experience:

Placements are also there 240+ recruiters come for campus placements. Average package is 8 to 9 lakhs and highest package is 17 lakh. We have Industry trajectory programme with big 4 like Kpmg GT etc

Isme campus life review

Likes

We have good faculties, who are very friendly and approachable
Study matarial is also very helpful, we are getting enough information and learnings we want
Corporate exposure of this college is amazing...we are getting good internships related to our feild

Placement Experience:

240 recruiters come to this college....we have industry trajectory program, placement oriented term, mock interviews, workshops. We have average package of 8pla and highest package is 17 lpa. We have career opportunities cell which prepare you for summer internships and final placement. In ITP students get stipend between 25 to 40k.

Great learning exposure

Likes

Infrastructure, facilities , diversity , good for networking and banglore is a corporate hub so it's getting easy for to experience corporate speakers.
Hostel facilities, food facilities for students for those who are living in hostels.
And how they prepare us for the corporate world .and the faculty ratio in 1 :12 over there so small batch size leads to better concentration on students .

Dislikes

Timings of hostels for food and go back to hostel time

Placement Experience:

So in the isme the placements are 100% there are lots of companies visited for mass hiring and the average package is about between the 8lacs and 9lacs from the 5 semester we are eligible for the campus placement

The College placement is decent which is around 8 lakhs as an average and rest is upon the students how they gather knowledge and perform in interview. The percentage of placement of 95%. The companies visited here are KPMG , Deloitte, EY, TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc.

Overall a good experience

Likes

Faculty is very approachable very helpful
Diversity in culture and small batch size so that everyone gets the opportunity
On campus hostel is very convenient there are 50% girls so it’s save

Dislikes

80% attendance is mandatory very disciplined
Every time you have to wear formals and timing of hostel is very strict

In the isme we all getting the opportunity to interact with companies and in isme we have trimesters so from 5 semesters our placements will start and there are good numbers of companies comes for placements and they offer good amount of packages

I like here faculty and there teaching style as well as approaching all students

My journey with the KIMS college was pretty eccentric. I learned a lot, gained a lot and all the while enjoying myself.
