Karnataka University Dharwad published merit lists and seat matrices for multiple courses on October 18, 2024. Candidates whose names are enlisted in the merit list are eligible to participate in the counselling round for admission to their desired colleges.

The courses include Anthropology, Biotechnology, M.A Sociology, Economics, Microbiology, PG. Statistics, M.Sc. Physics and M.Sc. and Computer Science.

Documents Required for the Counselling

  • Admission ticket or hall ticket
  • Marksheets (10th, 12th, and any relevant degree)
  • Identity proof (Aadhar card, voter ID, etc.)
  • All semesters degree original scorecard
  • Certificate of Hyderabad Karnataka
  • Income certificate
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • Transfer certificate
  • Domicile certificate (if required)
  • NSS certificate
  • Sport certificate
  • Eligibility certificate
  • Medical certificate (if required)

Note: Candidates must submit the original copy of all documents. Without document verification, no will will be allowed to complete the admission process.

KUD Counselling Process

If you have secured a seat in the first round then you have to complete the following processes.

  • Acceptance of Allotment: You have to first confirm the acceptance of the allotted seat.
  • Document Verification: Arrange all the required documents including educational certificates and ID proofs and submit those for verification.
  • Fee Payment: You have to pay the amount specified by the allotted institution to confirm your seat.
  • Reporting: Lastly you are required to report to the allotted college within the specified time to complete the admission process.

The university may conduct additional rounds of counseling if vacant seats remain unfilled after this counselling. Candidates who are not allotted a seat can participate in the subsequent rounds for admission in their desired colleges.
