Admission to KNITS College is through the EAMCET exam, with a rank of 56,000 sufficient for a seat in Civil Engineering. Faculty are praised for their punctuality and commitment to completing the syllabus on time, often considered better than at other colleges. Students admitted via the EAMCET under the conveyor quota do not pay college fees, only a 5,000 rupee building fee and a 750 rupee examination fee. Those entering through the management quota pay 35,000 rupees for college fees, plus the same building and examination fees.
The CSE and ECE departments boast numerous placements and job opportunities, while other courses see less frequent placements. The college does not offer internships. Although there are no college scholarships, students can access government scholarships, with the highest amount being 35,000 rupees. The college rewards high-performing students with free laptops and gold medals. Most students receive government scholarships, and under Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy's scheme, eligible students only pay the building and exam fees.
