I have given UPTU exam in 2009, and taken lateral entry in direct 2nd year. I chosen E&C and studied for next 3 years .

Overall college is very good with good education , library , faculties and resources but do not expect much in terms of fun , enjoyment or any other different activity. Come for education and placement ,you will surely be happy.

I got selected through AIEEE exam as 10% of seats are reserved for AIEEE students in UPTU. As I'm a gadget free to i selected IT branch and future is full of IT related things so i think i have a good scope.

UP state entrance exam. I scored a rank of 6805. And chose this college.

At last i would like to say that this is a very good college in NCR region and have a very good records of its placement and research work. It is known college in noida and in country for its contribution in education sector.

UPSEE was the entrance test. I chose JSS because it is the best private college in UP and is also near my home town.

I got direct admission. I have done BCA and MCA was my most preferred option.

I took IIT-JEE, AIEEE, UPTU-SEE. I obviously wasn't selected in IIT JEE. In AIEEE, my rank was somewhere around 56000. I don't remember the score. My UPTU rank was 10164. My other options were some dual degree course I can't recall in Thapar University, everything except Computer Science in Jaypee Noida.

I took UPTU and got a rank 2173, after my counseling I was offered an B.tech course in Electrical branch . Which I grabbed as It was a good college close to my hometown and I did not want to waste another year trying preparing for IIT.
