The college can be said to have a good management and they do co-operate with the students. However, delay in some documentation always takes place in the college.

The ones who want to learn extra curricular activities and who also wants to manage the course side by side, then this is the best stop for them.The classes have up-to-date technology.

Everything and everyone is good about the college except the mentality of few girls who happen to possess (to be very frank-a very narrow mind) and because of which most of us have to suffer.

The management is lax and slow the college can improve on that front. The classes get delayed and sometimes when the classes are cancelled the students are not informed.

I came to this college after passing class 12.The college is very prestigious and provides the best education for girls.it also encourages many other extra activities.

Shri Shikshayatam College is one of the best colleges in the city of Kolkata. It is by far the best girls' college affiliated to the University of Calcutta. A perfect balance of discipline and liberty is maintained in the institution. The strict yet knowledgeable professors guide us appropriately, which enables each individual to establish her own personality. There is adequate security management here. The cafeteria has perfectly fresh food facilities. The laboratories are safe and well equipped. The washrooms are always clean, with wending machines installed in each of the floors. SSC has the biggest library amongst all the colleges of the university, and it goes without saying that the facilities are provided keeping in mind the best interests of the students. Sports day, annual day, cultural festival, etc are celebrated. Thus, I'd like to conclude by saying that anyone would be lucky to be a part of this 60-year-old institution of education and much more.

The college is great in all sense. It is a dream of all to be a part of such college.

No entrance examination was needed to be taken separately. The marks of the +2 board examinations were taken into consideration. An average of the grand total (best of 5 subjects) and mathematics was taken. Then accordingly the names of eligible students were published on the college's official website. The form fill up was also to be done online. I had got 92% in my ISC examinations, 2013, scoring 94% marks in economics. In ICSE examinations, 2011, I had scored 93% on total.

No such entrance exam.I have always wanted to be a part of this institution.I had plans of doing B.com but then this subject seemed much more intresting to me.
